The Opportunity:
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for supporting the operation of a fast-paced packaging manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate must be able to conduct, maintain, test and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. Must be able to apply knowledge of electrical/mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and restore in all areas of Manufacturing.
Primary duties include the install, start up and shut down of equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown in line with OSHA requirements; inform appropriate management and line mechanics of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved and maintain company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment. The job also includes performing preventative maintenance functions as directed, assisting maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting, and performing other duties as required. Job Summary:
The PLC Technician is responsible for designing, programming, repairing, and maintaining programmable logic controller (PLC) systems used within Refresco facilities. The PLC Tech inspects equipment for proper functioning and performs preventative maintenance duties per manufacturer's specifications. May support repairs and installations for other advanced production/manufacturing equipment. The PLC Tech diagnoses equipment malfunctions and makes more complicated repairs or adjustments as needed.

Essential Job Functions:
Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while working.
Responsible to adhere to food quality and food safety as per quality standards and/or Safe Quality Food requirements.
Lead and participate in troubleshooting activities during equipment failures, collaborating with the production team to analyze, resolve, and prevent issues through investigation, testing, and follow-up.
Maintenance, testing and upgrading of all production equipment. Installation and testing of new food manufacturing, packaging and processing equipment. Interface with machine tools and special equipment or test modules, troubleshoot existing equipment for electrical or electronics failures and change or modify machines to improve or update.
Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC and automation issues, including faulty components and wiring.
Calibrate and test equipment to ensure accurate performance and compliance with specifications.
Assist with PLC system upgrades and improvements to optimize production efficiency and safety.
Modify existing programs for system optimization, new process requirements, or enhanced safety protocols.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, programming changes, and upgrades.
Train other team members on basic PLC functions and troubleshooting as needed.
Preventative maintenance and repair when required in addition to planned mechanical maintenance duties.
Participate in a continuous improvement culture while following safe workplace practices.

Duties and Responsibilities of this Level
Perform complex specialized tasks associated with the operation of radiographic equipment to make special study radiographs of designated body portions in accordance with radiation safety procedures.
Position patients; immobilize as necessary.
Assist radiologist during angiographic and interventional procedures.
Operate fluoroscopic equipment. Position patients for rapid sequence filming during contrast media administration.

This role is critical to ensuring uptime and performance of advanced electromechanical systems, including robotics, CNC machinery, and automated assembly lines.
You will collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to perform preventive maintenance, system diagnostics, and real-time troubleshooting, ensuring safety, quality, and throughput targets are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate, monitor, and adjust automated machinery, robotic arms, and CNC equipment used in transformer manufacturing and testing.
Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance on electromechanical systems to reduce unplanned downtime.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control system faults using schematics, PLCs, and HMIs.
Perform inspections and calibrations to maintain quality and performance standards.
Interpret technical documents including electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and control system logic.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to support process improvements and product integrity.
Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, machine performance, and production outputs using digital systems or CMMS.

Qualifications:
Education / Training
