Summary:
Utility (Monitoring) technician (or operator) works in routine, following standard procedures under supervision. He/She is responsible for monitoring mechanical facilities and electrical facilities at CCR (Central Control Room), measurement/control system and their parts. His/Her main tasks include regular facilities operation monitoring, alarm/trip monitoring and reporting, root cause study, adjusting set point guided by Engineers. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to solve practical electrical problems.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
COMPUTER AND SOFTWARE SKILLS: Use of computer to print wire and terminal labels.
EQUIPMENT: Various hand tools, electric drills, electric tap guns and hydraulic punches.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: None required.
