Design, build, troubleshoot and repair computerized systems in the industrial environment.
Troubleshoot all type of controls with a digital multi-meter and machine documentation, mechanical drawings, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
Experience required in hydraulics, pneumatics, programmable logic controllers, electrical circuits, electrical machinery and human-machine interfaces.
Good analytic skills are essential to understand control systems and isolate problems.
Proficient with AutoCAD, Excel, SQL, PLC, HMI and SCADA programming software.
Some travel required for startup or troubleshooting of control system.
High school diploma or GED required.
Possess mechanical aptitude, and the ability to learn independently.

Essential Job Duties:
* Maintain protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the communities in which we operate and/or transport our products, as our highest priority.
* Install, maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on all plant instrumentation equipment, control systems, and analyzers.
* Responsible for prompt and accurate diagnosis of minor problems and the implementation of corrective action. Consult directly with equipment vendors on problems for resolution as necessary.
* Set up and operate limited types of shop tools and specialized test, measuring equipment and hand tools utilized in any phase of machine installation or maintenance.
* Conduct evaluation tests on valves, motors, instruments, etc.
* Must be proficient in troubleshooting 24volt DC/120 volt AC controls and switch gear.
* Research specifications for materials, testing and repair of instrumentation and electrical equipment.
* Trained and qualified to operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, man-lifts, etc.
Qualifications:
* High School Education or GED required.
* Minimum three (3) years technical experience.
* Ability and willingness to serve as member of Emergency Response Team.
* Must be proficient in troubleshooting using loop drawing, schematics, ladder logic, electrical one-line, and P&I drawings.

A key technician within the engineering test lab and an essential contributor to lab operations. Operates and maintains lab equipment to perform a variety of routine materials engineering tests. Assists test customers in drafting test plans/matrices by incorporating standard test offerings into Excel.
Check dimensions of prototypes to ensure accuracy prior to conducting functional and performance tests.
Selects components and testing equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests, evaluates and records results.

Monitors and participates in the implementation of improvements for lab operations.

Job Description
The Senior Engineering Technician has mastered most testing and inspection tasks for construction materials and is able to provide site management of CMT projects. He/She is the on-site representative of the company and communicates regularly with project personnel. He/She provides written documentation of testing activities to supervisors for project records. Duties include:

Assemble and mount burners to boilers for testing.
Pipe oil lines, gas trains, feed water systems and steam headers to boilers.

Set up and operate limited types of shop tools and specialized test, measuring equipment and hand tools utilized in any phase of machine installation or maintenance.

Must be proficient in troubleshooting 24volt DC/120 volt AC controls and switch gear.
Research specifications for materials, testing and repair of instrumentation and electrical equipment.
Trained and qualified to operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, man-lifts, etc.
Qualifications:
High School Education or GED required.
