GENERAL NATURE OF WORK:
This position performs semi-skilled work in the Parks, Recreation, and Culture division. An employee in this class is responsible for performing various tasks associated with the maintenance of streets, traffic, parks, cemeteries, buildings, and vehicles in the City. Duties are performed under the direction of the appropriate Section Leader and/or designee.
EQUIPMENT & JOB LOCATION: This position requires thorough knowledge of equipment operation, including pickup trucks, dump trucks, snowplows, front-end loaders, backhoes, street sweepers, mowers, small power tools, crack sealers, curb machines, jack hammers, utility vehicles, tractors, bobcats, forklifts, sign trucks, signal trucks, bucket trucks, paint machines, hand stripers, safety equipment, and a variety of hand and garden tools. A Brief Overview

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A MANUFACTURING MACHINE OPERATOR / SETUP TECH & GENERAL ASSEMBLER
This production position works the 1st shift and typically has a 4-day schedule of Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm. Occasional Friday shifts may be required to meet demand.
