The role of a Data Research Analyst is to conduct research, collect and manage data and databases, and develop the data and result into a format easily representable to other employees, investors, and other researchers.

The Analyst will also need to develop analytical code and datasets to be used by others in their research, develop and code programs, create and publish documents, fact check and compare other's works, and otherwise conduct and improve upon the research being done by them or their team.

An individual hoping to begin working in this position should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a subject relevant to the industry and field they wish to work in, as well as previous experience in similar positions. Alternative mixtures of completed education and experience are also sought for, such as a Master's and some experience.

Due to the nature of this job, the person should also have good communication and analytical skills and should know how to collaborate with others in research.
