This position in intended for a confident, experienced designer who can immediately be client facing, lead finish selection meetings, and represent the firm in owner presentations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Focus on designing small to mid-size square-footage model home interiors. * Replicate and implement established design packages. * Collaborate and engage in all aspects of the design process, including drawings and presentations, under the guidance of the Model Home Design Manager. * Select, purchase, and coordinate the inventory needed for budgeted model home designs with support from the Model Home Design Manager * Prepare, coordinate, and finalize schedules, records, and paperwork essential for job responsibilities. * Oversee the setting up of model homes to ensure the inventory is arranged according to the intended design. * Prepare preliminary and final budgets for model home designs. * Collaborate with other team members on projects. * Occasionally handle urgent assignments with tight deadlines and short notice. * Perform other tasks as needed to support team goals and department objectives.
