We have an immediate hiring need for our full-time Machine Operator 1. This is a 3rd Shift role (SUN-TH, 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM), in the Electronic Assembly department with a starting rate of $18 per hour with a 10% shift premium. You will be on on-site at our Twinsburg, OH production facility reporting to one of our 3rd Shift Production Supervisors.
JOB SUMMARY:
Sets up and operate a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of our product. Work from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks. Checks and inspects operation against predetermined tolerances.
RESPONSIBLITIES and ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
May perform the following:
Work with Surface Mount Technologies and other machining processes
Set up and operate multiple machines and work stations at once - Works with components and full PC board layouts for final product creation
Create and apply labels onto PCBs (manually and/or automated)
Burns firmware programs into electronic components using programming machines
Prepare reels and feeders for use on surface mount technology (SMT) machines; count materials and moves to production line
Set up and operate optical inspection machine and perform visual classification and repair of rejected boards
Follow established procedures on routine work and standard operating procedures
Frequently interact with peers and customers (typically internal) to exchange or present factual information
Operate plated through-hole (PTH) machine to install axial, radial and DIP electronic components onto PCBs
Make setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications
Perform other responsibilities as needed
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 18 years of age
High School Diploma or GED OR 1 year of related work experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 1+ years of related experience in machining or electronics field but not required

Key job responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY:
A Process Operator is an integral part of the production team performing functions to create safe, quality products for Tidal Vision. The position is responsible for retrieving, weighing, handling and mixing chemical ingredients, monitoring equipment during the chemical process, repairing machinery if problems arise, accurately recording information about equipment, process, quality and inventory control while assisting in the planning and improvement of processes or products. Duties may also include loading and unloading trucks and managing warehouse inventory on an as needed basis. Duties also include conducting QA/QC testing and documenting results.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Accurately records information, such as ingredients, weights, and temperature, and inputting into a database

Troubleshoots issues with production equipment and processes
Observes all company, local, state, and federal safety and quality regulations

Drain, transfer, or remove molten metal from furnaces, and place it into molds, using hoists, pumps, or ladles.
