The Fleet Mechanic position is responsible for maintaining vehicle/equipment by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements; correcting vehicle/equipment deficiencies; making adjustments and alignments; keeping records. The position works under the direction of the Fleet Manager and is accountable for the tasks of troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining production and facility vehicle/equipment to support daily work activities while maintaining safety objectives and company processes. Assists superintendents with field equipment problems.

Assists in the final inspection for all equipment before loading for transportation to a jobsite.

**Responsibilities**
+ Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
