Looking for one full-time driver to bring US Mail in from Tahlequah, OK to Tulsa, OK nightly, and deliver mail out the next morning to Tahlequah. You will bring mail in to Tulsa in the evenings, layover, and then depart early the next morning. Detailed schedule is outlined below. Starting Pay: All drivers will receive $4.70 per hour fringe benefit pay on top of the hourly pay below. Operates vehicle in accordance with Louis V. Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and documents checks utilizing the standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report). Immediately reports all unsafe situations or service related issues to Supervisor or Management. Attends and participates in all scheduled training programs, briefings, and meetings as required by Louis V. Lepak Trucking. Works closely with Supervisor to improve route efficiencies and identify best practices. Notifies Supervisor or Management of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage. Notifies Supervisor of service interruptions including closed or impassable streets or alleyways, receptacles too heavy to service or potential safety hazards. Communicates USPS requests to Supervisor.. Follows route assignments as directed and completes end of day documentation and check out process. Perform all duties as scheduled by USPS and Louis V. We have 19 Truck Driver starter positions available ~ Class A CDL Driver Starter Level 1 Congratulations, you now have your Class A License you are looking for work with no OTR experience no one will hire you? We will give you a chance. In order to qualify, you have to have graduated from at least 120 hour Academy within the last 2 years. This is not a local position. After your 30 day training you'll come home and choose one of many open positions. Many are OTR runs. However we do offer you other positions once you get started with us. Don't be fooled by other carriers promising big salaries only to leave you hanging. We offer excellent pay and benefits unsurpassed by many other carriers. All of our training positions for drivers with no OTR experience, like yourself, features great pay, excellent benefits and many home time options. After training you will be expected to run OTR getting home every 10-14 days. Many openings are regional as well getting home more often. Of late we offer several different division opportunities, such as dry van, flatbed, and reefer. If you'd like to run flatbed we offer a free 5 day training course to build your experience level. After orientation, you will be hired and go out with a driver trainer for 4 weeks straight. You will be staying out the whole month, training all over the country. Our goal is to build your confidence behind the wheel and turn you into a great safe Class A Driver. Pay is just $650 a week during this time. After completion of your OTR training, you will then meet with a terminal manager to choose a position that suits your needs. You will then become a regular driver and move into a full time position. Your pay will increase to anywhere from $1,200 - $1,400+ per week during this time(depending on the run you choose). Getting home times will vary depending on the run.
