Role and Team
This position is responsible for driving a service truck on the auction lot and assisting with vehicle issues. Reports to the Operations Manager or designated manager as part of the Operations team.
Responsibilities
Disburse gasoline to vehicles, provide battery jump to start vehicles with inoperable batteries, put air in tires, unlock vehicles
Assist with vehicle preservation: Closing open windows and/or wrapping vehicle with collision tape to prevent weather damage
Drive or tow vehicles through auction lanes on auction day

Maintain good flow of communication with all team members and practice good teamwork
Inspect the service truck to ensure the vehicle maintains good maintenance and safe driving conditions

Required Qualifications:
* Must wear seat belt when driving.
* Maintain professional appearance at all times

* Keep transportation vehicle in a clean and tidy condition
* Familiar with the Boston, Massachusetts geography
* Must be professional, proactive, collaborative, conscientious and results-oriented individual.

Preferred Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Must have a Massachusetts Driver's License with ability to operate vehicles.
* Must be able to read, write and understand the English Language.
* 3 years experience in related work.
* Obtain BLS, EMT, or First Responder certification within 90 days.
* Demonstrated ability to think clearly during emergency situations.
