Transport Driver II Job Responsibilities: Drive tractor-trailer (tanker) combination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations, to transport and deliver asphalt products over short and long distances. Maneuver truck into loading and unloading position, following signals from terminal operators as needed. Drive truck to weigh station before and after product loading and along route to document weight. Drive truck into position to load at filling rack. Open valves or starts pumps to fill trailer. Read gauges or meters and records quantity loaded. Record amount delivered and issues ticket to customer. Conform to Federal and State driving regulations, including driver logs. Inspect truck before and after trips. Submits report indicating truck condition. Read "Bill of Lading" to determine assignment. Responsible for re-fueling truck, checking oil and all fluids. Maintains truck interior. Able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time in a variety of weather conditions. Manual dexterity; ability to reach; able to bend and move with agility. Ability to lift and move up to 50-70 lbs. Able to climb up and down tank ladder as needed. Able to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles . Well-groomed professional appearance. Transport Driver II Job Qualifications: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with Tanker endorsement. 2-3 years of Class A CDL driving experience. Solid work history. Excellent driving record.
