The responsibilities of the Class A CDL Route Driver position include:
•Operates a 53' tractor-trailer truck as directed that transports between the facility and multiple destinations. Typical routes are within a 100-mile radius of the home terminal
•Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery and/or pick-up of fuels to ensure timely service.
•Makes deliveries of fuel and diesel in accordance with customer needs and company policies.
•Maintains telephone contact with home terminal/dispatch center to receive delivery instructions or notices of changes in route or schedule to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
•Maintains a log of travel in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company needs.
Job Requirements
The required skills for the Class A CDL Route Driver are:
Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker “X” Endorsement
TWIC card
Minimum 3 years verifiable commercial driving experience
Must be licensed to operate the assigned vehicle
Able to Lift 100 pounds
Available for overtime as required to meet business needs within the appropriate State/Federal regulations, plus rotating Saturdays as needed
