Also uses dumper as necessary. Must be able to perform all forklift driving positions in processing/Yard. PRODUCTION STANDARDS: · Good lift truck driving skills and safe working habits. · Store & transport fruit keeping accurate track of fruit. · Assist in maintaining cleanliness of department · Ability to make quality decisions about condition of fruit. · Properly check and maintain forklift. · Must not “bang” bins when dumping to loosen fruit. · Properly fill out Drivers Daily Forklift Checklist. · Other duties as assigned WORKING CONDITIONS: Fast paced work area. Department is exposed to outside temperatures and dust. Safety glasses and ear plugs are required while driving forklift. Work area is wet and requires proper shoes or over-shoes.
