Job Description: About the Role: As a Warehouse Associate, you will support daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping, receiving, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role is responsible for the efficient movement of products and freight. You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to: * Perform essential warehouse tasks, including the movement of product and freight in a safe and efficient manner. * Effectively stage, setup and release orders in the system to improve warehouse efficiency and ensure timely deliveries. * Address inventory issues, outbound deliveries, and any discrepancies in the system. * Review the warehouse to ensure the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method is followed for orders unless otherwise directed. * Ensure outbound trailers are sealed or verify inbound trailers' seals to maintain product security. * Assign the correct dock doors to outbound deliveries based on product location and shipping requirements. * File all required shipping, receiving, and inventory paperwork according to company procedures. * Conduct inventory and cycle counting processes to ensure accurate stock levels and address and resolve any issues related to inventory discrepancies or product movement. * Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and office environment to ensure safety and operational efficiency. * Other assigned duties. Important Details: * This full-time, on-site role is on first shift. You'll fit right in if you have: * One to three years of experience in logistics, supply chain or related fields, preferably within the food industry. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, inventory management systems and/or SAP. * Knowledge of material handling equipment such as forklifts. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
