This position requires that the person be physically fit and have at least a cursory knowledge of the freight shipping business. In this position, the person will be required to skillfully manage the operation of a 26' straight truck. This position must work closely with customers, other drivers, stock room personnel, vendor employees, and other staff related to Fleet Services contracts. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck to ensure that it is safe and in reliable operating condition. · Report maintenance issues to supervisors to ensure prompt repairs to equipment to maintain safe and reliable operation condition. · Local drivers must check in with dispatch and obtain instructions for the day. · Timely pick-up, loading, securing and unloading of scheduled and unscheduled freight aboard assigned vehicle. Must unload at customer site. Off-site driver's pick-up and deliver at various Metroplex vendors and customer locations. · Piece count and/or otherwise verify loads, properly handle manifests and be responsible for maintaining and prompt submission of related paperwork. · Drivers are required to inspect before on-boarding all freight, note any damage and make necessary notifications and properly secure all freight for transit. Requirements:REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & CREDENTIALS · Current “Class C or B Texas Operators License· Must have minimum 1 year of verifiable driving history· Must pass driving skills assessment (field test with vehicle)· Must be able to maintain medical work eligibility OTHER ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS · Must be able to pass a criminal background check· Able to pass a mandatory drug test· Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records Check and have a clean driving record· Must maintain a clean driving record during entire period of employment and be insurable REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS & CAPABILITIES · High School Diploma and/or minimum 1 years driving experience· Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English· Must have basic math skills and competency· Must have basic computer use knowledge and skills· Must have access to a valid email address· Must be in good physical health with the ability to repeatedly lift 40+ lbs

Parts Warehouse Classification The Parts Warehouse employee is responsible for receiving and shipping parts, maintaining and organizing the warehouse, and delivering and picking up parts and equipment for the dealership. Essential Functions: Receive and inspect incoming parts, ensuring they are in good condition and verifying packing slips for inventory control. Pack and ship parts efficiently to customers and suppliers. Maintain accurate records of all shipments, damages, shortages, and other necessary inventory documents. Stock parts in their designated locations after verification. Operate a forklift. Keep warehouse bins, aisles, and storage areas clean, organized, and clearly labeled. Assist the Warranty Administrator and Inventory Coordinator as needed. Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors. Maintain a daily log of deliveries and pick-ups, obtaining recipient signatures for verification. Unload the truck nightly, submit all paperwork, and return undelivered parts. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications: Preferably one year of experience in parts or warehouse operations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good organizational skills. Basic computer skills preferred. Familiarity with company-specific software is a plus. Drivers must have at least five years of driving experience. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally. Full range of motion in arms for reaching and handling tools and parts. Prolonged standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and squatting required. Ability to push and pull using wrenches and other tools. Must be able to climb onto and operate equipment. Work Environment: Primarily indoors around moving equipment and heavy trucks. Possible exposure to extreme weather conditions when working outdoors. May encounter loud noise, dust, steam, high-pressure water, and rotating equipment. May require the use of common protective or safety equipment. Work may include cramped spaces or high places.
