Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Implement career awareness and exploration activities aligned with North Carolina's Career Development framework. * Deliver classroom presentations and small group lessons that help students connect school experiences to future career opportunities. * Support students in developing foundational career readiness skills, including goal setting, decision-making, and communication. * Coordinate guest speakers, career days, and other enrichment opportunities in collaboration with school staff. * Maintain accurate records of activities, participation, and outcomes. * Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and administrators to support student growth. * Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree required; degree in counseling, education, or a related field preferred. * Current or eligible North Carolina Professional Educator's License in Career Development Coordinator, School Counseling, or related area preferred. * Experience working with middle school students strongly desired. * Strong organizational and communication skills. * Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and community members. Work Schedule: * Part-time position (approximately 21 hours per week). * Flexible scheduling during school hours. Compensation: * Based on education and experience in accordance with district guidelines.
