Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

Summary:
The primary responsibility for the Equipment Technician position is collecting, analyzing, and reporting the health of rotating equipment. This is based on multiple technologies including vibration, pressure, thermography, oil analysis, pump and motor performance, compressor and engine performance, and key operating parameters. This position works closely with operations, engineers, specialists, and maintenance personnel in troubleshooting and repairs. This position will have knowledge of, support, and promote the company's Operation and Maintenance Principles program. This position will provide support for multiple sites.
This role has a current pay range of $37.80/hr - $53.00/hr. The listed pay range represents the company's good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base rate of pay for this position at the time of this posting. The selected candidate's compensation will be determined based on their work location, qualifications, relevant experience, operational needs, demonstrated performance over time, and internal pay alignment. Essential duties and responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
* Maintain vibration analysis program. Establish equipment routes and frequency. Collect and enter equipment data necessary for proper vibration analysis.
* Proficient with rotating and/or reciprocating equipment analysis techniques and perform as required.
* Proficient with motor and/or engine analysis techniques and perform as required.
* Maintain lube oil analysis program establishing routes and frequency.
* Periodic (monthly, quarterly, etc.) data acquisition from equipment, including vibration and pressure data with portable systems, critical machinery performance metrics (flow rates, equipment rotating speed, temperatures, and process flow characteristics), and lube oil samples and analysis.
* Perform analysis of data to resolve or proactively anticipate equipment failures.
* Lead and/or assist in root cause failure analysis utilizing the TapRoot process.
* Implements continuous monitoring systems, such as alarm, report, and acceptance regions.
* Assist the area in the scheduling of repairs by taking ownership of notifications and corresponding follow-up.
* Monitor equipment repairs in the field and at vendor shops. Use this information to improve equipment analysis.
* Report equipment deficiencies in the SAP system making recommendations for corrective action.
* Collaborate with responsible Maintenance/Reliability Specialists, engineers, planners, Operation Managers, and supervisors to ensure proper priorities are placed on deficiencies and a continuous learning/improvement process is fostered.
* Support the lubrication program by monitoring its effectiveness or, when required, take samples, interpret analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
* Perform other duties related to this function to ensure the reliability of equipment in the operating area of responsibility.
Required education:
* High School Diploma or GED
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
* Level C requires a minimum of 0-2 years of relevant experience in an oil and gas operations role or equivalent work experience.
* Level B requires a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in an oil and gas operations role or equivalent work experience.
* Level A requires a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in an oil and gas operations role or equivalent work experience.

Summary of Responsibility:
The Field Service Technician is responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of machine tool equipment, controls (Fanuc, Siemens, etc.) and other components purchased by customers. This position works independently to ensure the highest level of quality and customer service satisfaction.
What You Will Contribute:
Traveling to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain all machine tool equipment and controls for customer organizations
Utilizing machine tool manuals, technical documents, internal and vendor resources to research machine issues
Ensuring proper documentation is completed and submitted to office and customer in regards to status of machine issues, repairs, and installation
Promoting and performing preventative maintenance on customer machine tool equipment and conducting after-sales technical support and training
Possessing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company

Job Description
The Railcar Repair Technician conducts all aspects of repair and maintenance on tank cars. This person must demonstrate good leadership and team skills while being a safety-conscious person.
* Railcar Repair - always uses current repair procedures. Conducts railcar inspections to ensure cars are in compliance and performs repairs as necessary.
* Customer Support - Meets the expectations and requirements of all customers to ensure their satisfaction of work.
* Clerical - ensures that all necessary invoicing, inspection, work order information is complete.
* Maintains all certifications, complete and maintain required certifications, demonstrates strong familiarity with AAR rules and regulations.
* Other work-related tasks as assigned.
General Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Must have mechanical aptitude, ability to problem-solve and to make decisions. Ability to use hand tools (such as pipe wrenches, pry bars, wrenches, ratchets, and other equipment to chip and grind weld slag or spatter).
* Must handle and successfully complete basic railcar repairs and inspections.
* Consistently demonstrate skill in customer relations, using good interpersonal skills and be able to work as a part of a team.
* Demonstrates an ability to work safely and follow proper procedures
* Must work in all types of weather conditions.
* Valid Driver's License
Physical Requirements
* Must be able to stoop for extended periods and routinely move from kneeling to standing positions
* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from the ground surface
* Must be able to climb ladders and perform work at elevated heights
* Must be able to work in confined spaces
* Must be able to perform a FIT Test and wear a respirator
* Must be able to pass company physical exam, drug screening and background check
