Job Description Thompson Engineering has a full-time opportunity for a Survey Instrument Technician. The Surveyor Instrument Technician provides support to the Surveyor Party Chief in the daily responsibilities of the land surveying department. This position is responsible for collecting survey data using designated survey equipment. Ideal candidates must be willing to travel to support project needs. Duties: Operates total station, digital and automatic level, Topcon data collector, TDS software. Collect data for field level notes which is reported to the Surveyor Party Chief. Assist in loading and unloading survey equipment from the company vehicle. Ability to travel and stay overnight based on the workload of the Survey Department. The Global Hydrogen division of Linde, Inc. is currently seeking an Instrument & Electrical Technician in Sulphur, LA area. The candidate should have a strong electrical background and experience in Instrumentation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Install CO2 monitoring equipment and CO2 power monitors at designated customer sites * Ensure proper functionality, and safety compliance of installed devices * Communicate effectively with depot management and customer representatives during installations * Document installation details using a company-provided cell phone and FSM (Field Service Management) app * Provide basic troubleshooting and service support as needed * Follow all company safety protocols and procedures Qualifications * Valid U.S. driver's license held for at least 24 months (CDL Preferred) * Clean driving record (no at-fault accidents or more than 1 moving violation within the last 24 months) * Must be at least 21 years of age * Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently * Must pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screening * Reliable personal vehicle available for daily use * Prior installation or technician experience (e.g., cable installers, soda and beer dispensing systems, or similar mechanical/technical fields) preferred Pay - $25/hr. - DOE (Depends on Experience)

Job Purpose: The Field Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues on diesel engines, overhead cranes, hoists, and elevators. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Inspect Lever/Hand Chain hoists, fall protection, and rigging to ensure safety and compliance with Mfg, OSHA and ANSI standards. Stay current on applicable standards. Inspect, troubleshoot, estimate, repair, and proof load test. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities. Evaluate and make recommendations regarding repairs. Service existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily schedule; coordinating work orders by priority. Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklist, manual and digital. Builds and maintain customer confidence by maintaining a good response time, informing sales of problems, and completing the job in a timely manner. Maintain all company equipment and tools in compliance with the manufacture's recommendations and certifications, i.e. vehicle, forklifts, man lifts, operating machinery, etc. Responsible for keeping a proper stock level of inventory of stock items. Create and formalize information for proposals of all replacement and repair opportunities and forward to the Service Branch Manager for next steps. Keep training credentials up to date. Job Requirements: Must possess the ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot 460 vac 3 phase electrical motors and controls circuitry. Must be comfortable working at certain heights. Must own electricians hand tools, quality electrical test meter, and steel toed boots. Prospective candidates must: have a valid driver's license with clean record, currently possess, or can immediately secure , a valid TWIC card. Technical Education Certification preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and background check (including MVR). Environmental Job Requirements: Must be able to work efficiently outdoors with regular exposure to heat or cold. Must be able to comfortably work from elevated heights in order to diagnose and repair equipment. Must be willing and able to travel job sites or other branches to assist as needed to maintain customer satisfaction and safety.
