As an Equipment/Mechanical Engineer Intern, you will support Regional Construction & Mining operations. This position is responsible for the planning, scheduling, budgeting, utilization and reliability of a construction and mining equipment fleet. The position will deal with day to day as well as long term issues related to an equipment fleet. The position's main focus will be to improve equipment reliability as well as implement, monitor, audit, and manage preventative maintenance programs.

The Database Engineering Team is responsible for full stack development of a family of databases including Oracle NoSQL Database, Oracle Times-Ten In-Memory Database, and the industry-leading Oracle Database itself. * Assist with preparing, maintaining, and updating environmental plans, permits, and procedures.
* Learn to draft and assist in the preparation of permit and renewal applications, responses to notices of deficiency, notices of violations, surveys, reports and any other requests for information from environmental agencies
* Prepare and review document submissions to state and federal agencies to monitor compliance status.
* Develop and provide guidance and best practices to operations regarding their responsibilities for compliance.
* Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety

* Junior level standing pursuing Bachelor's degree in an Environmental field (Engineering, Science, Chemistry, Health), Biology, hydrogeology, geology or related field

About your internship
Duration: 10 - 12 weeks
Pay: $24.00 an hour
