    The Engineering Technician's primary duty is to meet production objectives by conducting special test processes of electronic devices. Responsibilities include administering functional tests along with troubleshooting at a system level down to the component level and maintaining records of the mentioned special test processes. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result. **Roles and Responsibilities:** + Perform special test following test specifications and procedures for high volume manufacturing + Set up and perform test with minimal direction using sophisticated equipment - perform analyses and diagnostics of process, products, computers, and test equipment used in systems verification. + Troubleshoot electronics systems, circuit card assemblies to component level with analog, digital, and microprocessor-based circuits, assemblies, and test equipment + Capability in the assembly/dis-assembly of test equipment and product. + Prescribe rework instructions for products needing repair + Maintain product test records in quality data tracking system + Ensure product compliance and quality + Attend and participate in team meetings **Required Qualifications:** + Associate's degree in an electronics technology discipline from an accredited university or college (or High School diploma / GED with at least two years of experience in Testing and/or Troubleshooting) + This role requires a US security clearance and a prerequisite for a security clearance is US citizenship.
