Physician-scientists and clinician-investigators/clinical trialists from all clinical specialties who are pursuing basic, translational, or clinical cancer research with a strong engineering, technology, and/or computational component are encouraged to apply. Successful applicants will be appointed as Assistant or Associate Professors in the appropriate department at Dartmouth and become full DCC members. Protected time for research and generous start-up packages will be provided. Members of DCC's Translational Engineering in Cancer (TEC) research program work to accelerate the development and translation of practice-changing imaging and engineering technologies for the detection, diagnosis, treatment, and therapeutic monitoring of cancers. Current TEC investigators conduct research aligned with one of three primary program themes: 1) Surgical Image Guidance; 2) Radiation Monitoring and Treatment; 3) Cellular/Molecular Sensing and Contrast. TEC members benefit from Dartmouth's highly entrepreneurial ecosystem as well as deep integration and synergy between Dartmouth's Thayer School of Engineering, Geisel School of Medicine and Dartmouth Health.
