Job Duties:

Qualifications:
Familiarity with CADD design software such as MicroStation or AutoCAD (required).

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Provide overall coordination of the construction quality management program for assigned projects
In conjunction with the Construction Manager (CM), review and provide recommendations toward approval of contractor quality control plan
Attend selective quality control (QC), preparatory and initial meetings, and monitor three-phase checklists for accuracy and thoroughness
Provide relevant remarks on Government Quality Assurance (QA) reports (or in identified section of Contractor's QC reports), particularly on critical, definable features of work included
Take/file/distribute progress photos
Validate quantity, condition, and approval of materials on site prior to Government issuing invoice payments
Coordinate support to review and witness successful testing and commissioning/certification of critical systems (i.e., mechanical - HVAC/TABS/DALTS/DDC, electrical -pad mounted transformers/high-voltage systems/switchgear/automatic transfer switches/frequency converters, fire and life safety/fire protection systems, roofing systems, and underwater structures).
Assure quality workmanship in accordance with specifications and industry standards on concrete/masonry/stucco/ building, envelope/structural steel/bolting/welding, and other building materials/structural systems, as required
Attend/witness selected tests and review all applicable test reports and results
Keep the Government sponsor advised as to the status of projects under his/her administrative and technical control, but the responsibility to plan and carry out the assignment is accomplished independently

It is expected that the minimum education and professional experience requirements have been met, as listed below.

A minimum of 5 years of verified experience as a Quality Control Manager working for General Contractors on NAVFAC or US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) projects OR 10 years of verified foreman experience in one or more of following trades: Concrete; Mechanical; Electrical; Masonry; or Carpentry on commercial/industrial/military projects; residential experience does not qualify
Must complete the USACE Construction CQM Certification
Physical Requirements: To successfully perform the essential duties of this position, an individual must be able to perform the following:
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, crawl, navigate across uneven ground that is common at construction sites and climb for extended periods as well as when traveling to and from job sites
Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
* Must be able to work both indoor/outdoor (with exposure to the elements)
Must be able to work in confined spaces and under varying environmental conditions, including heat, cold, humidity, rain, wind, dust, and noise

ModMed is seeking a Security Engineering Intern to join our Information Security team. In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience with application security tools, processes, and collaboration across engineering teams. This internship provides an opportunity to learn how security is built into every stage of the software development lifecycle while making a meaningful contribution to the protection of our products and customers.
What You'll Do:
Support onboarding and configuration of security scanning tools such as SAST and SCA.
Review scan results, track issues through resolution, and assist developers with remediation.
Contribute to documentation and internal training materials on secure coding practices.
Participate in threat modeling sessions and document potential risks.
Assist with scripting and automation to improve AppSec workflows.
Research emerging security topics relevant to ModMed's products and share findings with the team.

Duties may include but is not limited to: installation of environmental soil borings and monitoring wells (both manually with a hand auger and also with a licensed drilling subcontractor), collection and documentation of soil and groundwater samples for laboratory analysis, Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, environmental permitting, installation of environmental remediation systems, implementation of both in-situ and ex-situ remedial actions, underground storage tank installation and removal, and underground storage tank system inspections, and ability to gain working knowledge of Federal, State, and local environmental regulations.
The STRIVE Internship Program is a 12-week experience running from May 18, 2026 through August 7, 2026. Interns are required to be fully available during Week 1 (May 18--22) and Week 12 (August 3--7) of the program. Week 12 includes company-paid travel to an APTIM office (location to be announced) for an end-of-internship celebration.
Interns are expected to minimize absences to ensure a meaningful program experience. The program observes Memorial Day (May 25, 2026) and Independence Day (July 3, 2026, observed).
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Provides technical support to clients in a variety of work scopes including but not limited to: environmental site characterization, monitoring, permitting, regulatory reporting, Phase I and Phase II due diligence, and residential and commercial construction.
Collects and interprets soil, groundwater, and air samples.
Oversight of drilling activities, including but not limited to direct push, hollow stem auger, and sonic drilling as well as directional drilling.
Basic land surveying skills such as top of casing surveys.
Performs overspill bucket inspections/sampling for underground storage tanks.
Executes field work, maintains project schedule and budgetary goals, and supervises contractors.
Conducts work independently or as part of a project team and can adjust to rapidly changing site conditions or client requirements.
Adheres to established health and safety policies and procedures and executes work in a safe and conscientious manner.
Conducts Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and Phase II Environmental Site Investigations in accordance with ASTM Standards and client requirements.
Supports environmental permitting and permit compliance projects.
Drafts technical documents for regulatory agencies and private clients.
Understands technical concepts, evaluation results, plans, reports, and ensures conformance to applicable technical standards as well as company policies and procedures.
Manages own schedule and balances multiple priorities to meet project targets and deadlines.
Utilizes best practices and knowledge of internal and external business systems to improve products or services as a collaborative member of the APTIM team.
