The main purpose of this position is to work with wetland mitigation and aid in environmental office duties. This position works with all phases of this process, identifying existing wetlands, determining wetland losses, the creation/restoration of new wetlands, and the reporting of wetland losses from new sites. Office duties will include tracking various environmental aspects and commitments in a spreadsheet/database. Time in the field is spent identifying wetland communities. Delineating boundaries between wetlands and uplands is one of the main skills.
