Your Opportunity We're looking for interns for our summer 2026 internship program! As an Intern for the West Region Environmental Services Group at Stantec, you can expect to carry out a variety of different tasks related to water resource management projects. You will learn about career offerings within Stantec, what is needed to become a successful consulting engineer with other interns from across the nation. Every day will allow you to work on an interesting project, while expanding your knowledge as you gain field and office experience in many disciplines. Your Key Responsibilities * Provide engineering support for projects involving erosion and sediment control, and stormwater management. * Works with other engineering disciplines and professionals in the coordination of the project under the direction of a senior engineer/designer. * Drafting, computer modeling, data entry, assistance with preparation of construction plans and specifications, quality control review of client construction storm water documentation. * Assist in the preparation of design concept plans, permit packages, work plans, tables, figures, hydraulic calculations, erosion and sediment control plans, and associated post-construction stormwater management plans, and present information for quality review. * Assist in basic interpretation and verifying compliance with applicable regulations, codes and engineering standards and practices. * Complete other engineering/administrative duties as required. * Respect and assist our clients by being responsive and reliable. * Safety is a priority at Stantec.
