This staff position is a doer-seller responsible for implementing Industrial Stormwater Permit compliance projects for private or publicly operated industrial facilities. Additional familiarity with municipal and construction stormwater projects is expected. The role involves serving as a technical expert in NPDES Permits specific to Industrial and/Individual Permits, managing projects, developing and maintaining client relationships and responding to client requests for technical support and proposals. Responsibilities

Qualifications

* Storm water industrial certification is required (QISP), others are preferred CA-Civil PE, CPSWQ, CPESC, QSD.
* Strong understanding of the Los Angeles Phase I NPDES Permit. Other Phase I MS4 permits in southern California also desirable.
* Extensive experience with water quality monitoring equipment (autosamplers, water quality meters, flow monitoring, data loggers, remote telemetry, innovative use of novel monitoring devices).
* Strong operational use of computer databases and office programs (MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word).

The pay range for this position in California is $120,000 to $140,000 annually.
