Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science in environmental science, engineering, or a related field. • 7+ years of relevant Environmental Compliance experience. • Strong consulting and critical thinking skills are required. • Project management experience, including developing scopes of work, cost proposals and schedules, and managing multiple project teams simultaneously. • Professional Engineering license, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, or other environmental certifications, is preferred. This role focuses on compliance, documentation, and technical review rather than hands-on remediation, and directly supports safe, effective cleanup and redevelopment of Brownfields properties in coordination with EPA Region 7 and state and local regulators. Responsibilities and Duties Provide on-site oversight of Brownfields cleanup activities (soil and groundwater) to verify work is performed in accordance with approved work plans, QAPPs, HASPs, and applicable regulations. Our successful candidate will be primarily responsible for satisfying the Site's EHS compliance obligations and identifying & driving continuous improvement programs. As a key member of the Mid Atlantic EH&S Hub, responsibilities will also include general support for Qnity Electronics EH&S programs and policies. A successful EHS Specialist will be required to do the following. Your Key Responsibilities: * Provides leadership in overall management of EHS in the plant. * Develops, implements and maintains EHS policies and procedures to comply with safety laws, regulations and standards. * Works with Qnity Electronics EHS specialist and industrial hygienist to implement and maintain policies and procedures to comply safety, health, and environmental laws, regulations and standards. * Drive incident investigations to identify root cause and corrective/preventive actions * Coordinates and supports plant safety, health and environment management programs and initiatives. * Be a visual presence on the operating floors, labs, etc., and provide counsel, advice and support to other functions on all safety, health and environmental related matters. * Identifies at risk behaviors and eliminate and/or mitigate. * Leads and participates in environmental, health and safety inspections, assessments and audits and track corrective actions to closure. * Liaison between the company and safety related governmental authorities, agencies, committees or professional services. * Develop, coordinate and conduct EH&S required training in accordance with Qnity Electronics, local, state and federal regulations. * Serve as the technical expert on all matters relating to the site's air pollution control, water and waste infrastructure, associated regulatory compliance programs, and emissions. * Prepare, support development of air, water, and waste permit applications including renewals and modifications. * Supports, monitors, measures, analyzes environmental, health and safety performances and provides recommendations to the site leadership for continual improvement. Analyze leading indicators to drive out systemic issues at the site. * Maintain and submit accurate compliance reports and records. * Monitor and report EHS compliance metrics on program effectiveness to site leadership team and associated teams * Collaborate with Engineering and Operations during the design and installation phase of facilities to ensure compliance with EHS regulations. * Host regulatory agency visits and inspections to the site. * Develop and deliver professional meeting presentations to stakeholders including regulators and other officials. * Supports the management of change (MOC) process as a change owner, subject matter specialist (EHS) and change action owner. * Support Environmental EMS ISO14001, SPCC & DPCC Programs as needed. * Support and provide technical support for EHS Initiatives within the Mid Atlantic Hub. Minimum Qualifications: * Minimum University Degree in Safety Sciences, Environmental, Engineering or related major. We value integrity, professionalism, and transparency-and we never stop asking, “What more can we do?” POSITION SUMMARY: The Environmental Product Services (EPS) Compliance Specialist I is responsible for ensuring all renewable gas compliance requirements are fulfilled and that new projects are registered in accordance with renewable energy program regulations. The specialist will also support analysis and data handling to provide decision support and help execute operational strategy. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Collaborate on onboarding and registration efforts for new projects within renewable energy programs • Assist with gathering and submitting documentation for EPA/CARB pathway certification for new RNG plants and dispensing plans • Assist in ensuring that current projects meet all renewable gas compliance requirements, including federal, state, and local regulations, by reviewing existing and new legislation and supporting adherence • Monitor applicable regulatory permits (including air permits) • Prepare annual fuel pathway documentation • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operational data, including inventory tracking and calibration monitoring • Query, filter, organize, and summarize large amounts of data to support participation in renewable energy programs • Provide data to support key performance indicator (KPI) reporting • Develop and maintain relationships with employees at all locations • Conduct all activities in a safe and healthy manner and in accordance with established company and safety requirements OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Promote a positive working environment to support organizational goals • Perform other duties as assigned WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed in an office and controlled atmosphere. POSITION SUMMARY The Environmental Compliance Specialist is responsible for executing environmental policies and procedures for Summit Utilities natural gas distribution projects and facilities to assure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations while effectively managing Company's environmental risk. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage environmental compliance for Company facilities and construction projects across a multi-state territory. Coordinate the scheduling, direct the workflow, and review/QC the findings and reports of third-party environmental consultants who perform project environmental permitting. Prepare or supervise the preparation of compliance reports and ensure on-time project completion. Interpret regulations and assist in the development of Company guidelines for environmental compliance. Conduct or assist in environmental audits of Company facilities. Conduct and document routine worksite inspections to identify compliance and recommend improvements. Participate in and document regulatory agency site inspections. Evaluate test results, laboratory data, and/or procedures for compliance with applicable environmental regulations. Plan and supervise assessment, remediation, air, waste, and water projects upon request. Coordinate or conduct training on a variety of subjects relating to environmental compliance. Assist with integrated vegetation management (IVM) implementation on pipeline rights-of way (ROW). Reports directly to the Environmental Programs Manager and provides additional environmental project support, as necessary. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in biology or environmental science related studies 0 to 5+ years of environmental compliance and permitting required. Experience in the energy or construction industry or related field is preferred. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES Be detail oriented and demonstrate analytical and organizational skills.
