POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the Director of Facilities and Special Projects or designee, assists with planning and organizing work activities and provides general maintenance support for all Equitas Health facilities. Assist with ensuring that scheduled maintenance is completed and coordinates projects with the Director of Facilities and Special Projects as well as fellow facilities technicians. Performs general maintenance and repair of complex systems, which include but are not limited to heating, ventilation and air conditioning, electrical and plumbing. SALARY: $23.56 hr- $28.27 BENEFITS: * PTO * Vision * Dental * Health * 401k * Sick time ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to, traveling, driving, using a telephone, utilizing a computer for typing and conducting research, and attending meetings. MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES: * Inspects buildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repair making notes and recommendations * Performs minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g. wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc.) using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools * Performs minor plumbing maintenance (e.g. replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, trenching and laying new lines, replacing drain hoses on washers and similar devices, etc.) * Performs minor carpentry and masonry work (e.g. preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer, or roller to apply paints, stains, and varnishes, hanging doors, fitting locks and handles, etc.). * Reconfigures, installs, positions, and remounts modular offices and space (e.g. furniture, wall panels, work surfaces, storage bins, lighting, file cabinets, etc.) to accommodate user needs and maximize office space using various hand, power and specialty tools, dollies and hand trucks * Prepares the surfaces and paints various structures and equipment (e.g. walls, floors, roofs, doors, restroom facilities, etc.) to preserve wood and metal parts from corrosion and maintain a safe, comfortable working environment using various painting equipment and related tools (e.g. sprayers, rollers, brushes, thinners, etc.) * Oversees minor maintenance and/or repair projects as assigned * Completes maintenance activities in a timely and cost effective manner, according to industry standards, relevant manufacturer's specifications and in a safe manner * Order parts and maintains appropriate records * Ensures that work orders are completed in a timely manner and maintains records and reports as required * Operates various hand and small power tools and equipment in support of a variety of maintenance and repair operations * Performs other work related duties as assigned * Must be able to work flexible hours EDUCATION/LICENSURE: * High School Diploma or equivalent * Electrical licensure in Ohio is preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and other Qualifications: * Minimum two years' experience in commercial facilities maintenance including work in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting and/or general maintenance * Strong oral and written communications abilities * Experience with and ability to provide high quality customer service * Ability to travel to other sites in Ohio as necessary * Must have sensitivity to, interest in and competence in cultural differences, HIV/AIDS, minority health, sexual practices, and a demonstrated competence in working with persons of color, and gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender community * Must be able to maintain individuals' confidentiality * Must have reliable transportation, driver's license, and proof of auto insurance OTHER INFORMATION: Background and reference checks will be conducted. The Crisis Recovery Center will transform crisis care by providing 24/7 walk-in behavioral health services meant to immediately identify, triage, address, stabilize and treat persons in mental health crisis and assist those who have substance abuse withdrawal needs. This position will operate on 12-hour shifts. Nurses will provide companionate and competent behavioral health services in our newly built facility located in Lorain. Nurses will work with a team to provide 23-Hour Observation and / or 3.7 Withdrawal Management Services. Pay Range: $29.81 - $36.33 per hour Placement within the pay scale is commensurate with experience and qualifications Hours Available: Part Time Days and PRN POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES The purpose of this position is to help promote the overall physical and mental health of clients through the implementation of duties within the scope of nursing practice. Utilizes the Trauma Informed Care approach in all areas of the job. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS * Works closely with the physicians or nurse practitioner(s) regarding the care and treatment of clients receiving psychotropic medication (possibly assignation of specific nurses to work with certain physicians. * Monitors clients newly prescribed medication or those undergoing medication changes through scheduled appointments. * Provides education on the purposes, benefits, risks, side effects of medications. * Conducts physical/mental health assessments. * Obtains vital signs, blood sugar testing, weights, BMI, waist circumferences, screening tests and other parameters relevant to medication monitoring and health. or other parameters as requested by physician. * Administers urine drug screening and breathalyzer testing * Provides education on physical/mental wellness in individual and group settings. Facilitate groups, clinics to aid with promotion of physical/mental health. Facilitates med groups, clinics, and client and family education as appropriate. * Provides education on the effects of alcohol and other drugs on physical/mental health in individual and group settings. * Assists with the administration of prescribed psychotropic medication including injections. Provides medication monitoring, conducts physical/mental health assessments, gives injections to clients. * Assists with medication monitoring for example assisting clients with pill minders. * Identifies current and potential physical/mental health care needs and provides needed care and or assists the individual with securing needed care in the community. * Collaborates and coordinates linkages with agencies, treatment providers in the community for continued physical/mental health care. * Assists with the obtaining of psychotropic medication via samples or through Central Pharmacy or calling prescriptions into local pharmacies. * Responds to routine and emergency requests for medical assistance. * Assists and teaches clients and staff about client self-care of medical conditions. * Communicates with case managers, counselors, and other members of the treatment team relevant information concerning care of clients especially those dealing with multiple physical/mental health care problems. * Completes all necessary documentation to service delivery. Provides written communication for services inside and outside the Center. * Maintain required productivity expectation. * Communicates with case manager technicians to ensure proper interpretation and implementation of Individual Service Plans. * Secures medication in accordance with state, federal, and Center medication regulations. Provides education and consultation to other non-medical personnel. * Promote and support Trauma Informed Care implementation and initiatives within the organization * Use the Trauma Informed Care approach to work collaboratively with clients and other team members (internal and external) to help support clients in their treatment and recovery * Attends required staff meetings. * Reacts to change and stress productively. * And all other tasks as assigned Requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED * In order to perform the essential functions of this job, after an orientation period, the employee must possess the following: a working knowledge of Riveon Mental Health and Recovery Policy and Procedures, including sensitivity and adherence to clients' rights, confidentiality, and health and safety issues. * Must exhibit sensitivity to different cultures. WORKING CONDITIONS * The work is provided in the Crisis Recovery Center located in Lorain, OH * This individual may periodically be required to lift and/or carry up to 10 pounds. * Must be able to physically interact with client and others in emergency situations to prevent harm to client and others. * The individual in this position must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. * Due to the extensive computer work this individual must be able to sit for extended periods of time and operate required equipment. REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS * Candidates must possess one of the following: Valid Ohio state license as an RN. * Experience working in behavioral healthcare preferred. * Computer skills including familiarity with Windows and Word applications required. Summary: The Day Treatment Addiction Counselor is responsible for routine duties of an Addiction Counselor, including, but not limited to screening, assessment, treatment planning, education, referral and documentation. Essential Functions: Delivery of clinical services including individual counseling, group counseling, family counseling, intensive outpatient services, requesting urinalysis, non-medical community residential services, consultation, referral and information, intervention, hotline, training, outreach, crisis intervention, case management and adjunctive alcohol and drug services. Assessment and treatment planning including assessment of client's strengths and weaknesses, developing treatment plans to prioritize and address identified problems, examining alternative solutions and developing plans of action. Day Treatment Program includes 5 days per week of Intensive Outpatient (IOP) group services. Position is also responsible for coordination and on-going communication with the staff and representatives of Residential and Recovery Housing programs. Oversight of each case assigned to caseload. Orienting the client to the program, clinical reviews and clinical staffing, discharge planning and completion of daily progress notes. Engaging the family of each client in the family treatment program. Delivery of program components as assigned. Weekly contact with referral sources for clients assigned to caseload. Completion of all CQI data collection and implementation of all CQI corrective actions as assigned. Monthly participation in the Utilization Review and Peer Review programs. Other duties as assigned.
