The Estimator's primary responsibility and accountability is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while creating estimates, coordinating repair needs for customers including all communication, informing and updating customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal. The Estimator plays a pivotal role in the success of the customer's experience by ensuring they are working in alignment with all team members in achieving the repair facility's KPIs.
Key Job Responsibilities

Ensure every customer interaction is documented, updated efficiently and accurately with pertinent details
Provide Customer with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process and ensuring that they receive excellent customer service
Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes and metrics
Ensure compliance with all WOW Operating Way's regarding customer drop-offs, repair planning, customer communication, and delivery
Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members

The primary function of this role is to own the process providing project cost estimates and quotes that deliver and drive business, then to manage the project steps through to completion. The Role
As a Project Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our company's success by providing accurate and detailed estimates for construction projects. You will work closely with customers, contractors, and other team members to gather project requirements, analyze data, and create comprehensive estimates that meet our clients' needs.
In this role, you will utilize your expertise to assess project options wtih various vendors and determine optimal material costs. You will work on a variety of projects, ranging from residential to commercial construction, ensuring that each estimate is tailored to the specific requirements of the job.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients and team members to gather project requirements and specifications.
Analyze blueprints, drawings, and other documentation to understand project scope.
Conduct site visits to assess project needs if requested by homeowner or contractor.
Perform detailed quantity take-offs and cost calculations for materials
Source and evaluate suppliers and vendors to obtain the most competitive pricing.
Create accurate estimates, including detailed breakdowns of costs
Review and modify estimates as necessary, based on project changes, market cost change, or additional information.
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to address questions or concerns.
Maintain detailed records of estimates, cost data, and project documentation.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, pricing, and regulations to ensure accurate estimations.
Requirements
Prior experience as a project estimator in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and building codes.
Proficiency in using estimating software and other relevant tools.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills to perform accurate cost calculations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
