Element has an opportunity for an Associate Metallurgist (2nd Shift). The Associate Metallurgist will support the metallurgical laboratory in performing a wide range of material testing and analysis activities. This role is responsible for preparing and analyzing metal samples, interpreting test results, maintaining lab equipment, and contributing to continuous improvement in lab practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in metallurgical principles, hands-on laboratory experience, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. The NDT Radiography Level III (Film and Non-Film) provides advanced technical expertise, leadership, and certification authority in radiographic testing for aerospace components and assemblies. The Level III is responsible for developing, qualifying, and approving radiographic techniques and procedures; training and certifying personnel; interpreting standards; and ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and aerospace requirements. This role covers both film-based and Computed Radiography (CR) systems.
