How You Contribute to The Team The SPF Cell Machine Operator is responsible for various tasks in the manufacturing of garage door springs according to customer and product specifications. Set-up and operate equipment. Select robot program options according to production requirements. Monitor workflow through heat treatment process. Change over and ensure proper tooling is used according to specifications. Unload finished product onto pallets and/or racks ensuring proper quantities are in bundles. Consistently meet or exceed established key performance indicators. Utilize computers at different points in the process to complete required tasks. Complete preventive maintenance and troubleshooting as needed. Complete daily clean up and 5S responsibilities. What You Need to Succeed High school diploma or GED. Manufacturing experience. Computer programming aptitude for robotic and automated equipment. Strong communication skills. Proficiency in using hand and measurement tools. High level of attention to detail, organization, and follow-through skills. Dependability and a willingness to learn. This position will frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Team members are paid weekly . The target hourly pay range is $21.50 to $24.50 depending on qualifications, experience, education, and other factors. A shift premium may be available depending upon shift and location. Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:45pm - 12:15am Position Summary: The Automation Machine Operator runs automated machine work cells according to specific schedules and procedures. The Automation Machine Operator is responsible for checking parts that are made by automated work cells to ensure quality standards are met. The Automation Machine Operator is responsible for keeping the machines clean and troubleshooting minor error alarms. Duties and Responsibilities: This list is not comprehensive but meant to represent the most common or important duties of the Automation Machine Operator. Other duties are required and/or assigned: Remove finished components/assemblies from work cells Inspect parts for overall integrity while machine is cycling Maintain quality and efficiency standards Complete paperwork accurately and legibly Follow instructions and procedures accurately and precisely Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years or older to apply. Language Skills: Ability to read, and interpret technical procedures in English Ability to effectively communicate in English Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply concepts of basic math. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
