This position also plays a critical role in developing future leaders through training, coaching, and participation in company-wide initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Plan and schedule projects, including developing short-interval schedules. Determine crew needs and schedule manpower based on estimates and project timelines. Monitor project progress by coordinating subcontractors, resolving conflicts, and maintaining documentation. Ensure adherence to quality control standards and all safety protocols. Evaluate project costs weekly and review labor, material, and equipment expenditures. Apply deep knowledge of construction processes and best practices to support successful project execution. Manage large, complex projects that involve multiple superintendents to ensure alignment and project success. Drive results through strong leadership, proactive problem-solving, and collaboration. Execute strategic initiatives to support company-wide goals. Facilitate STP (Supervisory Training Program) classes and other internal training sessions. Represent Findorff in business, industry, and community activities to strengthen external relationships. Partner with marketing on presentations and client-facing initiatives. Participate in client interviews and project pursuit meetings. Build and maintain long-term client relationships and support business development efforts. Oversee project scheduling, production, quality, and safety. Identify and mitigate project risks to protect the company. Provide expert guidance to identify issues and recommend actionable solutions. Mentor emerging leaders and contribute to talent development. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in construction management or a similar level of experience in construction trades, with a background overseeing multiple projects as a Superintendent or Supervisor in the commercial sector. 10+ years' experience in commercial construction with the capability to manage projects valued over $60M. Must possess ground up construction knowledge and experience. Experience in self performed trades and concrete fundamentals. Travel: Opportunities to travel outside of Wisconsin with our clients.
