THE ROLE
This position reports to the General Manager. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overall management of concessions operation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Responsible for ordering and maintaining correct inventory levels.
* Responsible for entering purchase orders and product receiving information into tracking program.
* Manage and oversee monthly inventory.
* Ensure cash handling procedures are always met.
* Direct and oversee schedules for all hourly staff to guarantee proper payroll and management.
* Develop warehousing plan to assure easy access and accountability of merchandise
* Maintain product and service quality standards by conducting ongoing evaluations and investigating customer concerns
* Recommend and maintain preventative maintenance programs to protect the physical assets of Legends
* Implement and maintain effective communication with the client and all employees
* Assist in the development of programs that result in increased customer satisfaction
* Implement and ensure accurate information entered into POS systems, able to trouble shoot
* Manage in compliance with established Legends' policies and procedures
* Ensure all cash handling procedures are in effect at all times
* Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
* The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of four years food and beverage and/or retail management experience.
* Detail-oriented and extremely organized with the ability to multi-task
* Ability to interact with all levels of management
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment
* Customer Service oriented
* Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Experience with Scheduling preferred
* Knowledge and effective operations of retail POS including procedures and policies
* Must be available to work extended hours such as nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
* Must be able to work in a team environment
* Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.

COMPENSATION
Competitive salary range of $60,000 - $65,000 commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.

Job Title: Seasonal Skate Host - Part-Time / Non-Exempt Reports To: Operations Manager Maggie Daley Park is hiring Seasonal Skate Hosts to support operations at our popular Ice-Skating Ribbon during the winter season. As a Skate Host, you'll be a key part of the guest experience-providing support on the ice, promoting safety, and helping create a fun and festive environment for all visitors. Maggie Daley Park is open 7 days a week in all types of weather. Rain, Snow and Sunshine. All Applicants need to be extremely reliable, dedicated and punctual. References will be checked.
Key Responsibilities
* Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude
* Assist skaters safely on the ice
* Help guests who fall or need support while skating
* Provide information about rink rules, park amenities, and skating guidelines
* Observe skaters to encourage safe behavior and enforce rink policies
* Respond to incidents and report injuries or concerns to the Skate Host Leader or Operations Team
* Support cleanliness and organization in warming tents, rental areas, and guest zones
* Assist with crowd control and guest flow during peak times on the ice
* Participate in special events and group programs during the winter season
* Help create a fun, inclusive, and festive atmosphere during themed or high-traffic sessions
* Complete other job responsibility and duties as assigned
Schedule Requirements
* Starting October 1st through April 1st; this is a seasonal, part-time position
* Maggie Daley Park is open 7 days a week 8am-10pm. ALL Holidays
* Applicants must be available to work early mornings, weekdays, evenings and Weekends
* Ability to work the following Shift(s): 7:00AM-1:30PM, 10:00AM-4:30PM, 4:00PM-10:30PM
Qualifications
* A Minimum of 5 years skating experience is needed. Preferred hockey experience. References will be asked for and verified
* Snow Removal Experience Required
* Must have Own Skates
* Prior customer service or recreation experience is a plus
* Excellent communication and people skills
* Ability to stay calm and professional in a busy, public-facing environment
* A team player with a positive, proactive attitude

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

* Instructs patrons on appropriate workout and training methods; explains proper techniques, demonstrates exercises and identifies different muscle groups.
* Prepares appropriate equipment and learning aids for each class.
* Develops age-appropriate curriculum as well as level 2 curriculum.
* Assists patrons, answers questions, and maintains a positive experience for participants.
* Keeps management informed of customer and facility needs.
* Ensures that safety standards are met, and department and facility policies are adhered to.
* Implements and regulates the facilities' policies and procedures.
* Performs other related duties as required.
SKILLS REQUIRED
* Previous teaching experience in a group setting required.
* Able to teach starting at age 5 participants
* Self-motivated, with excellent communication and customer service skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

THE ROLE
The Premium Services Manager position will report to the General Manager and is responsible for effectively and profitably managing and directing all day-to-day aspects of the premium services operations including Clubs, Suites, Club Level, In-Seat Service, and all other pertinent areas of premium services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Manage all facets of the premium food and beverage operations to achieve operational budgets, manage monthly P&L statements and ensure that all financial reporting is accurate

* Develop annual operating budget and quarterly reviews vs plan

QUALIFICATIONS

The Opportunity
* Design power distribution, lighting controls, fire alarm systems, grounding and lightning protection systems
* Lighting photometric calculations
* Circuitry for Power and Lighting devices
* Model electrical systems for projects in 3D using Revit (on the job training provided)
* Development of reports and electrical calculations
* Work with other disciplines and/or vendors to gain knowledge on new subjects
* Attend meetings - listen, ask questions. Be involved in discussions with other disciplines and Architects to gain knowledge & experience
* Contribute to internal process improvement initiatives
Is this role right for you?
Required
* Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Architectural Engineering (BSAE) or similar degree
* Demonstrated interest in the electrical engineering industry
* Skills in planning and organizing
* Ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas in an accessible way, both in person and in writing
* Attitude of taking independent initiative, exhibiting creative problem-solving, eagerness to learn, while remaining dedicated to teamwork
* The ability to prioritize effectively, balance assigned work and exceptional organization skills required for our constantly evolving environment

Chicago Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in Chicago is $21.50 to $39.50 per hour. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of Chicago, IL will differ.

Job Title: Figure Skating Instructor Reports To: Figure Skating Coordinator ASM, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for a Figure Skating Instructor at the Morgan Park Sports Center. The Figure Skating Instructor is responsible for assisting and/or running skating lessons at the Morgan Park Sports Center.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Include the following - other duties may be assigned.
* Provide instruction to youth (ages 3 and up) and adults
* Demonstrate proper use of equipment, techniques and methods of proper movement to achieve proficiency in sport
* Explain and enforce safety, rules and regulations
* Keep records and help coordinate events
* Keep management and parents informed of activities and problems as they arise
* Record attendance each day of class
* Instruct students in elements of class level. Making sure to devote time to each element in the level, so students feel prepared for their evaluation
* Evaluate students on testing day, and complete forms required by program
* Once students are evaluated, input students level into the computer registration program
* Encourage appropriate behavior of students.
* Model appropriate behavior by
* Respecting facilities, patrons and staff
* Not speaking negatively about patrons, other instructors or volunteers.
* Using appropriate language in coaching, and in conversations with patrons.
* Dressing appropriately and having a clean and tidy appearance.
* Attend at least one continuing education seminar (in any skating discipline) per year
* Attend all Figure Skating Staff meetings as organized by Skating Coordinator
* Aid the Skating Coordinator in duties assigned or delegated
* Notify Skating Coordinator and management regarding absences, and find staff to substitute for you
* Complete other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE
* 3+ years previous coaching experience preferred
* 5+ years competitive skating experience preferred
* Knowledge of the U.S. Figure Skating Basic Skills program
* Knowledge of generally accepted coaching techniques
* Skill in organizing large groups of skaters (youth or mixed ages)
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other instructors and management
Schedule:
* Saturdays 8:30am - 1:30pm
* Mondays 5:30 - 9:15pm
Hourly Rate: $18.50
