Participates and facilitates quality improvement projects. Facilitates patient discharge to home and provides patient and family education. Provides clinical assistance in the orientation of new employees and students on clinical rotation. Provides education to all clinical team members to include physicians and nurses at the
bedside and informal classroom setting. Maintains Basic and Advanced certifications as appropriate to assigned areas such as BLS, ACLS, FCCS, PALS, and NRP.

Associates Respiratory Therapy or Bachelors Respiratory Therapy-Preferred

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Surgeon with to join our dynamic surgical team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for full-scope general surgery and be experienced in managing trauma cases. This role offers the unique opportunity to contribute to the development of surgical care services from the ground up, working alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to clinical excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive general surgery care, including elective, emergency, and trauma surgery.
Manage acute trauma patients in collaboration with the trauma and critical care teams.
Participate in the planning and implementation of surgical service lines and operating room workflows.
Collaborate with hospital leadership and clinical teams to establish best practices and protocols.
Maintain high standards of patient safety, quality, and satisfaction
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree with Board Certification or Eligibility in General Surgery.
Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Georgia
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
