We are looking for a Community Outreach Manager to guide and manage outreach department and outreach efforts to under-represented communities, community engagement, education, and advocacy. The Quality Assurance Manager will guide and manage outreach department and outreach efforts to under-represented communities, community engagement, education and advocacy. What you'll do: Interviewing, hiring, and training new direct reports and training others in the Community Services Department as appropriate Directly supervise Quality Assurance supervisor and oversee implementation Quality Assurance policies and practices, including evaluation, technical assistance, and monitoring of GGRC provider services ensuring use of strategies that promote person-centered practices, are collaborative with individuals receiving services, service providers and other GGRC departments, and other key stakeholders as appropriate Stay updated on current Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement trends and work with GGRC leadership to update Agency quality assurance practices as relevant Oversee responses to service quality concerns raised by GGRC staff and community stakeholders as appropriate Investigate and formally respond to whistleblower complaints, DDS complaints, and community complaints as applicable Oversee development and implementation of relevant GGRC staff and/or service provider trainings implemented by members of Quality Assurance Unit and ensure collaboration with GGRC Training Coordinator as appropriate Attend Community Care Licensing (CCL) meetings as needed Represent GGRC on the DDS (Mission Analytics) Regional Management Advisory Committee (RMAPC) Chair GGRC Risk Management Committee and facilitate gathering of information needed for committee review In partnership with the Community Services Manager, ensure ongoing Residential Services Orientation including curriculum development/changes, train-the-trainer opportunities for applicable regional center staff, and ongoing implementation Directly supervise FHA Specialist responsibilities including but not limited to: Title 17 quality assurance monitoring, FHA expansion activities, and DDS audit collaboration and response Directly supervise HCBS Specialist(s) responsibilities including but not limited to: HCBS compliance monitoring activities, use of DDS HCBS funding for special projects as available, HCBS training, facilitation of HCBS workgroups, and strategic role out of HCBS related changes in collaboration with others in the agency as needed to GGRC staff, individuals served, families, service providers, and applicable community members Provide support as available to process improvement across the Community Services Department and wider agency when appropriate Serve as a GGRC liaison to DDS on Quality Assurance Related activities Stay current with California Title 17 regulations, related Welfare and Institutions Code (WIC) sections, and DDS directives Oversee relevant activities related to Person Centered practices including implementation of person centered practices in Community Services work Contribute to leadership of the Community Services Department by participating in planning and facilitating departmentwide meetings and Quality Assurance Unit meetings, assisting in covering management duties in other parts of the department in the absence of the Community Services Director or other managers Adhere to HIPAA and other confidentiality requirements and Agency policies Requirements Requirements Experience/Skills 4 years experience working with people with disabilities preferred (substitute 4 years related experience in community development quality assurance related work); 2 or more years supervisory experience Competencies: Demonstrates an understanding of person centered principles and practice and able to apply them in day to day work Able to read, interpret, and convert to practice related state regulations and codes Able to analyze and design systems and processes to maximize efficiency in a collaborative manner Able to work collaboratively with others and build consensus Able to prioritize tasks effectively Demonstrates an understanding of culturally responsive and inclusive practices Education: Master's Degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Community Development, or related human services field Physical Requirements: Travel Required within Bay Area Occasional travel to sites throughout California Access to reliable transportation permitting travel to and between many different locations throughout the day in order to perform the outlined responsibilities of the position Benefits What are the benefits to working with GGRC?     Job Description Facilities Coordinator Starting Salary Range: $42,193 - $50,632 GGRC is hiring for a Facilities Coordinator who will be reporting to the Manager/Supervisor of Operations, this position will handle everyday facility processes related to the support of our Marin office to ensure facilities are maintained and offices are able to operate smoothly. Support the Manager/Supervisor of Operations with ad hoc duties and projects. This role will require you to travel within the Counties of San Francisco, San Mateo, and Marin on an as needed basis; may be required to travel to other locations periodically. You will need access to reliable transportation permitting travel to and between different locations throughout the day in order to perform the outlined responsibilities of the position. What You'll Do: General: Responsible for general office needs and organization and facility maintenance needs. Including but not limited to mailroom-related functions, ordering office supplies, responding to daily staff requests, process deliveries, process vendor services, and front desk phone coverage. Communicate on-site facility or maintenance issues and services to staff. Office Premises/Facilities: Oversee and maintain general office organization and cleanliness in all common areas, including conference rooms, public meeting rooms, breakrooms, and mailroom. Work with building engineering as needed. Oversee office vendors and janitorial teams. Work with Property management staff as needed. Research, request and review service or purchase bids. This is a hybrid schedule role offering the opportunity to work in the community, from any of our offices located in San Francisco and from the comfort of your own home. What you'll Do: Vendor Services Interpret regulations and analyze documents to ensure compliance with State regulations and Agency policies and practices. Review documents and requests from potential vendors, which may include but not limited to individual served by GGRC, family member, individual service provider, group home, profit and non-profit agencies, and public entities, to ensure qualifications of vendor to perform services and meet requirements. Interact with the general public over phone, via email, or in person about GGRC vendorization process. Provide direction and guidance to GGRC staff on vendorization procedures and practices.
