- A Day in the Life The Mixer Operator assembles ingredients, portions, weighs, and formulates according to customer specifications. This position operates a computer-controlled mixing system producing dough products. Daily tasks include recording of ingredient lot numbers, weighing and combining product ingredients using a scale, physically putting ingredients into a 1,000-pound-capacity mixer, recording mix times, dough temperatures, moisture percentages and other data on paperwork, programming mixer settings using a function-key-style computer terminal, washing/rinsing/sanitizing equipment, mixing water and dry yeast to produce yeast slurry used in dough production, shoveling ice into large bins for use in dough mixing. The Lithography Operator will set up and operate lithography equipment based on customer specifications. This position involves working with colors along with identifying appropriate inks are meeting customers specifications in order to provide the highest quality can to customers. Job Duties: Read blueprints and can drawings to determine job specifications and tooling. Set up and operate all lithography equipment.
