ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform surface conditioning, coating and blast operations on various sized billets, blockers, semi and finished forgings. Grind and blend the surface of forged parts to remove flash, defects, nicks, scratched, sharp edges and smooth irregularities. Read blueprints and schematics and work to specifications. Work closely with supervisor to optimize process Perform area housekeeping and other related duties as assigned by supervisor Use various measuring tools, depth gauges, vernier calipers and micrometers to secure tolerances of ± .005 inch.
