Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to join our Florida team. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced geologist, hydrogeologist, or groundwater-focused engineer with a strong background in water infrastructure projects. You will lead complex hydrogeologic investigations, manage multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to strategic planning and execution of projects related to underground injection control (UIC), wellfield development, groundwater resource management, aquifer protection, and integration with broader water/wastewater infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Lead hydrogeologic investigations, including data collection, analysis, interpretation, and presentation. Manage planning, design, permitting, testing and construction of groundwater-related infrastructure, including UIC wells, monitoring wells, and wellfields. Oversee development of technical reports and evaluations using GIS and groundwater modeling. Provide technical leadership in well construction, testing, modification, and rehabilitation. Coordinate with internal technical specialists and discipline design professionals across water and wastewater sectors. Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes. Mentor junior staff and foster technical development within the hydrogeology group. Support proposal development, client presentations, and strategic business development. Conduct fieldwork and site visits throughout Florida, from planning through construction. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geological Sciences, Hydrogeology, or Environmental/Civil Engineering. Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida. 10-20 years of experience in hydrogeology, groundwater infrastructure, or water/wastewater project engineering. Proven ability to manage complex, multi-year projects with interdisciplinary teams. Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for work-related travel. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree (Master's or Doctorate) in Civil/Environmental Engineering or Hydrogeology. Experience with Florida's regulatory framework for groundwater and UIC systems. Familiarity with water/wastewater treatment and conveyance systems. As an intern, you'll work alongside experienced professionals on projects centered around landfill construction, landfill permitting, storm water management, utility projects, soil and groundwater remediation, brownfield redevelopment, site development, and sustainability projects.
