Qualifications:
* Must possess demonstrated basic knowledge in methods, principles, and practices required for the operation, repair, and maintenance of the HVAC, boiler, and plumbing system
* Must possess a thorough understanding of operational procedures and industry terminology
* Must possess an EPA Universal Certification
* Must possesses any licenses, certificates, and/or training required by local, state, or national authorities for the operation of the equipment in the facility
* Knowledge of an ice plant and ice floor operation including Zamboni operation and ice build are recommended, but not required
* Must possess a basic working knowledge of electricity, electrical currents, and electrical blueprints
* Must possess a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, and other related materials; must possess basic computer skills
* Must possess a demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively
* Must possess the ability to work effectively under pressure and/or the stringent schedules and produce accurate results; must possess the ability to work independently and exercise proper judgment in routine matters
* Must possess the ability to maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, guests, and others encountered in the course of employment
* Must be licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle
* College or technical school preferred along with 3-5 years experience in the field
* Must possess the ability to remain flexible to adjust to situations as they occur and perform assignments outside the HVAC/Plumbing field
* Must possess the ability to meet the physical demands of this job which include being able to access all areas of the facility, lifting and carrying up to sixty (60) pounds, moving, climbing, and working at various heights
* Must possess the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
* May experience possible exposure to the hazards of HVAC systems and to loud noises
