Performs a variety of skilled tasks such as repairing, maintaining, painting and refinishing walls, doors, ceilings, floors and related or corresponding parts and areas, such as locks, windows, tiles, wall boards, carpeting, plumbing installations and guard rails. The Laborer II position is performed on a part-time basis and is classified as Regular Personnel with nonexempt is to assist with the maintenance (including repairs and improvements) of all grounds, facilities and equipment of the Norridge Park District. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists with the landscape operations of Park District grounds, as well as the in-house construction, trades maintenance and care of all the Park District buildings, facilities and equipment. Duties of a Pipefitter include but are not limited to working safely, performing quality work, measuring, and fabricating piping systems, reading and interpreting blueprints and isometric drawings, familiarity with piping parts and components.
