GENERAL PURPOSE

Serve patients meals on centralized food line.
All tasks related to washing dishes, silverware, etc.
Serve food in dining room.

The Packaging Lead is responsible for coordinating line workers' activities to ensure their assigned packaging goals are met in compliance with all quality and safety SOPs and cGMP's. Areas of Responsibility
Coordinates with the supervisor and other Leads on an as needed basis to establish schedules, job assignments and packaging sequences to meet packaging goals.
Communicates with Supervisor to resolve employee issues and take appropriate action.
Must be available to attend training seminars/classes as needed.
Delivers and manages work assignments of packaging operators (both USPL and temporary agency).

Maintains proper gowning and hygiene to ensure integrity of the product as per cGMP's and company policies.

A U.S. based manufacturer best known for its truck-mounted vacuum and industrial cleaning equipment is seeking Shop Helper / Truck Technicians to join their expanding company. This person will be under the direction of the Service Manager, the Shop Helper / Truck Technician will perform various shop duties assisting mechanics in repairs, cleaning, receiving/ shipping, washing of equipment and other similar tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who is aspiring to become a mechanic as this would be a foot in the door to move up within the company as most leaders in the company have started in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct minor repairs and servicing to equipment as directed by the Service Manager
- Follow procedures outlined in the work orders and policy handbook
- Maintain a clean and respectable facility, shop equipment, work environment, and parking areas
- Assist Heavy Equipment Mechanic as needed
- Pick up and deliver parts as needed
- Wear company-supplied uniform when conducting company business
- Maintain and organize shop and storage areas - ensuring proper storage of flammable items
- Operate all company-owned equipment and vehicles in a safe, lawful, and respectful manner

Essential Job Functions:
Assists mechanics in performing preventive maintenance inspections on tractors and cargo tank trailers.
Assists with performing moderate to complex repairs on engines, drive trains, brakes, suspension systems, hydraulic systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, alternators, electrical systems, instrumentations, trailer bulk product transfer, handling and storage systems, and other necessary power equipment.
Operate steaming machinery
Connect, monitor, and disconnect steam to the heating coils of a loaded cargo tank.
Documents heating operations on a steam log.
Compare product name on the bill of lading with Safety Data Sheet (SDS) to verify product name is the same on both documents prior to conducting steam operations.
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the job:
High School Diploma or equivalent required, trade or technical school graduate
1-2 years of basic maintenance and/or mechanic experience
Valid driver's license
Strong computer skills
Ability to carry out instructions accurately
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
Able to operate heavy machinery similar to steamer or boiler
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of mechanical components
Knowledge of using standard hand and power tools

DUTIES

Drive CDL Drivers to/from customers locations to pick up or drop off vehicles to be repaired.
Assist technician with oversized parts and sheet metal installation.
Maintain and clean all shops and office areas. Empty trash and garbage containers
Willingness to learn various tasks and do other non-routine duties as part of a successful vehicle maintenance shop operation.
Support ad-hoc projects related to the DFS priorities and initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
High Schol Diploma or up to two years of experience in a related field.
Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
Positive attitude, good instincts, and self-motivation
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and apply initiative.
Common knowledge of the trucking industry; experience with fleet maintenance or other transportation experience in automotive/trucking would be very helpful.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
