You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will perform as a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations.

About the role:

You will determine donor eligibility to donate plasma, management of donor adverse events, review of laboratory test results, and donor notification of unsuitable test results. The Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) works under the guidance of the Center Manager (or Assistant Manager as applicable) for operational guidance and under the management of the Center Physician for medical issues. The Medical Support Specialist will be familiar with regulations of the plasma collection industry or a manufacturing environment. The Medical Support Specialist follows guidance provided by BioLife Medical Affairs and provides center level support of environmental, health and safety (EHS).
How you will contribute
You will determine donor eligibility; to include, proper management of informed consent, AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion, medical history interview and acceptance requirements, physical examination, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).
You will evaluate donor reaction(s), which occurs at the facility as outlined in the SOPs. Follow applicable SOPs for medical emergencies including the development of Center Physician's standing orders and donor transport to emergency care facilities.
You will refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs (as applicable) when in need of providing unacceptable findings to donors, or guidance concerning medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility.
You will support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
You will manage employee incidents and determine whether further evaluation is required by occupational health/ER. Refer to EHS guidance regarding employee incidents.
You can be a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations associated with pandemic threats within the local community as indicated by EHS or Medical Affairs.
What you bring to Takeda:
High school diploma or equivalent to including graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements
Currently licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned: LPN or LVN
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
Fulfill state requirements (in state of licensure) for basic IV therapy
Satisfactorily complete the FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
Two years in a clinical or hospital setting

JOB CONDITIONS
Must have a drivers license and be willing and able to drive to patients residences.
The ability to access patients homes which may not be routinely wheelchair accessible is required. Hearing, eyesight, and physical dexterity must be sufficient to perform a physical assessment of the patient's condition and to perform and demonstrate patient care.
Physical activities will include, walking, sitting, stooping, and standing and minimal to maximum lifting of patients and the turning of patients.
The ability to communicate both verbally and in writing is required as frequent communication by telephone and in writing in English is required.

Responsibilities of the RN Health Care Facility Surveyor:
The position is 100% remote with up to 75% travel. The Surveyor will serve as a team member or team leader on various types of surveys (i.e. re-certification, comparative, complaint investigation, and revisits) for long-term care and non-long-term care surveys, which can include; ambulatory surgical centers (ASC), Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICFs/IID), end-stage renal disease (ESRD), Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF), hospital, critical access hospital, and hospice facilities. Surveyors travel to healthcare facilities nationally conducting surveys to assess compliance with requirements and regulations guiding the quality of care for residents/customers of the facilities. The responsibility of the Surveyor is to apply approved survey protocols for conducting on-site surveys. Specific activities include the following:
Conduct on-site surveys of Medicare-Medicaid certified health care facilities to determine compliance with Federal regulations.
Surveys require preparations such as off-site preparation, tour of the facility, observation of care, record review, interviews of staff and families, etc. Determine if care, treatment, and services are consistent with Federal requirements.
Evaluate many aspects of the healthcare facility system from the quality of care to the consumers' rights and physical plant.
Communicate the non-compliance issues with key personnel throughout the site review and during the exit conference to assure an understanding of the deficiencies cited.
Determine if a plan of correction is acceptable.
Conduct follow-up visits and monitoring surveys to ascertain if facilities' plans of correction to resolve the deficient practice have been implemented.
Training: Assist with facility and bureau training. Participate in work groups as needed
Requirements
Must have an Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing
Must have successfully completed CMS's Long-Term Care Basic Training and passed the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT).
Must have At least two (2) years of recent experience working as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities that serve the residents of long-term care facilities.
Must maintain current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Demonstrated a history of independent decision-making skills to direct and effectively manage the survey process.
Ability to set priorities independently and collectively in performing survey tasks.
Ability to openly discuss conflicts/controversy, and to seek assistance when appropriate to make decisions and resolve conflicts.
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time on a regular basis is required.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mobile Wound Care Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on wound care services, assist in patient education, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal healing outcomes. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a mobile healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct wound care treatment under the supervision of a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician.
Perform wound assessments, dressing changes, debridement assistance, and infection control measures.
Assist with advanced wound care techniques, such as negative pressure wound therapy and compression therapy.
Educate patients, caregivers, and facility staff on wound prevention and treatment strategies.
Document patient encounters in an EMR system in compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations.
Monitor patient progress and report significant changes to the supervising provider.
Coordinate with homehealth agencies, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Travel to patients homes, skilled nursing facilities, and long-term care settings within the assigned service area.
Qualifications:
Current LPN license in Nevada.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in wound care, homehealth, long-term care, or a related field.
Wound Care Certification (WCC) or similar is preferred but not required.
Strong ability to work independently and autonomously in the field.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation for travel within the service area.
