Shield AI is seeking a Principal Fuel Systems Engineer to lead architecture, development, and validation of fuel systems for advanced AI-powered aircraft. In this role, you'll own the full lifecycle of fuel system design-from concept through flight testing-while mentoring others and driving technical excellence across our growing air vehicle portfolio.
You'll tackle high-impact challenges: enabling efficient long-endurance flight, optimizing aircraft center of gravity, and developing robust, certifiable systems that perform flawlessly in extreme conditions.

Required qualifications
B.S. or M.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline.
12-15+ years of experience in aircraft fuel systems, aerospace fluids, or propulsion integration.
Demonstrated expertise with fuel system design, analysis, and certification for manned or unmanned aircraft.
Deep understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and CFD principles.
Proficiency with analysis and modeling tools (ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM, MATLAB/Simulink) and CAD software (NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks).

What You'll Be Doing
Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: 1.) being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience, 2.) serve as back-up cashier at Fooda Cafés for team members who have time off, and 3.) driver responsibilities, delivering equipment and food to Fooda sites.
Gain competency with Fooda's technology and standard operations procedures
Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication
Troubleshoot technical issues with point-of-sale (POS) system, onsite technology, and TV menu boards
Conduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coaching
Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer
Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality
Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
Critical hours are over lunch (10 am - 2 pm) but responsibilities may span 8am-4pm, depending on the market and need

What You'll Do:

What You Bring:
10+ years of experience in product marketing, lifecycle marketing, or related disciplines, with at least 5 years in people leadership roles.
Proven success leading marketing strategy for financial products or complex SaaS ecosystems.
Deep understanding of B2B customer journeys and how to influence them through both product and lifecycle marketing levers.
Strong strategic acumen with the ability to translate vision into actionable frameworks and measurable outcomes.
Demonstrated experience building and scaling high-performing teams, fostering mentorship, and elevating the craft of marketing.
Exceptional storytelling, positioning, and communication skills with the ability to influence executives and inspire teams.
Comfortable operating at the intersection of strategy and execution, balancing long-term vision with near-term impact.
A passion for understanding merchant needs, market dynamics, and how technology can simplify and accelerate small business growth.

At Lightspeed, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your skillset, qualifications, experience, and market data. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We reasonably expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $200k USD, depending on the candidate's location. Additionally, this role may be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. The City Manager will provide on-the-ground oversight, conducting walkthroughs, supporting employees, and building trust with clients. This is a flexible part-time contract role (10-15 hours per week) with some evening and weekend work, as needed by the client.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Relations & Business Development:
Represent Slate at promotional opportunities such as industry events or client meetings.
Conduct walkthroughs with potential clients to understand their cleaning needs.
Provide face-to-face service and account management for existing clients.

Operations & Oversight:
Conduct weekly, bi-weekly visits to all sites and support accounts, including residential accounts, and new openings.
Ensure quality assurance through site walkthroughs, checklists, and photo documentation in Jobber.
Conduct QA inspections at client sites to ensure service quality and compliance with company standards.
Report updates, issues, and staffing needs to the Support Team and leadership.
Employee Supervision & Support:
Provide coaching, feedback, and accountability to employees on-site.
Ensure cleaners follow protocols and represent Slate professionally.
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training as needed Qualifications:
