The purpose of this position is to lead the wiring function of the Manufacturing line in the Knoxville facility. This position is responsible for making sure that the units leaving are wired correctly based on the electrical schematics and Design drawings provided by Engineering. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Read the schematics and compare to Electrical boxes to certify the lines are running correct. Learn, understand and be able to teach and operate the End of Line Tester. Be able to trouble shoot any electrical issues and communicate the corrections in an effective way to prevent the same issues in the future. Teach operators how to read a schematic. Check in house boxes for correct wiring. On occasion be able to travel to customer sites and trouble shoot all electrical issues. Maintain preventative maintenance on End of Line Tester equipment. Emergency assistance when units have issues on the manufacturing line. When needed, provide added training and assistance on the manufacturing line for any items that the person is knowledgeable on. i.e. Electrical testing and /or other applicable areas. JOB SUMMARY: The Electrical Controls Technician I is responsible for providing electrical support, including but not limited to, programming of PLCs from multiple manufacturers (AB, Bosch-Rexroth, Omron), electrical and program troubleshooting, and ongoing project support for manufacturing daily operations and improvements associated with the manufacturing systems at Iatric. Responsible for completing required documentation on check-outs, preventive maintenance, updates/changes, etc. Receives and reviews various records and reports including ride manuals and updates, ride electrical programs and diagrams, technical manuals, computer manuals, operating schedules, check-out sheets, work orders, vehicle maintenance check sheets, operational downtime sheets, material safety data sheets, etc. Ensures rides are maintained according to manufacturers, Dollywood Company guidelines to ensure the safety of ride operation and guests Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance for individual or groups of attractions rides and other equipment typically utilized in theme park attractions including but not limited to: troubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems, animation and special effects Responds to downtime, repair and ride recovery issues Diagnoses system failures and provide immediate and long-term correction action. Research defective mechanically controlled items/parts and instructional information to complete the repair process when needed. Systems may include relay logic, PLC logic or a combination of both. Primary Function The incumbent must be proficient with three phase and single phase as well as commercial electrical installation. Incumbent must be able to trouble shoot Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), emergency generator, LED lights, etc. Incumbent will maintain light and power circuits, elevators, controls, lighting fixtures, transformers, standby battery power circuits and equipment, making repairs as necessary; perform testing, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of electrical systems and components; installs conduits, wires, cables, pull boxes, transformers, switches and other related equipment required in making additions, extensions, or alterations in electrical systems. Job Duties Electrical: Repairs, installs, replaces, and tests electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances. Inspects and tests electrical lighting, signal communication, power circuits, and equipment. Environmental Control: Monitors and records temperatures, oxygen pressure, humidity readings. Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments and may install specific functional and structural parts. Carpentry: Constructs, repairs, and maintains wooden materials such as furniture, equipment, partitions, and other parts of organization's buildings, using hand and power tools according to written or oral instruction. Painting: Applies coats of paint, varnish, stains, enamels, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior and exterior surfaces, trimming fixtures using paint brushes, rollers, and scrapers. Plumbing: Inspects, installs, repairs, and replaces pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures to maintain the heating, cooling, water, gas, oil, and drainage systems. Heating/Cooling: Maintains and repairs air handling systems thermostats/humidistat, sensors, controllers, relay switches, dampers and motors. Chillers for cooling the boilers for heating. Incumbent must be mechanically well versed in pneumatic panels, electrical malfunction, and instrument capabilities. Dental Equipment: Repairs, installs, inspects, replaces and tests dental equipment utilizing knowledge of pneumatic, electrical, carpentry, and plumbing skills. Transportation: Drives cars, trucks, and four-wheel drive vehicles to deliver/pick-up passengers, cargo, equipment, etc. Assess vehicles and/or machinery to accurately diagnose and repair issues Liaise with clients to determine their automotive requirements and communicate vehicular defects or problem. Maintain complete confidentiality of all administrative, medical, and personnel records, and all other pertinent information that comes to his or her attention of knowledge. Civil and criminal penalties for unlawful disclosures or records. Violations of such confidentiality shall be cause for adverse action. Assists hospital staff and funeral homes with cadavers. Incumbent will be required to work weekend and on call duties. May be required to assist with security duties. May be required to repair equipment locate din patient homes. Responsible for the efficient use of materials. Misuse of materials could result in minor incidents which would reflect poorly in performance evaluation. Job Description The purpose of this position is to lead the wiring function of the Manufacturing line in the Knoxville facility. This position is responsible for making sure that the units leaving are wired correctly based on the electrical schematics and Design drawings provided by Engineering. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Read the schematics and compare to Electrical boxes to certify the lines are running correct. Learn, understand and be able to teach and operate the End of Line Tester. Be able to trouble shoot any electrical issues and communicate the corrections in an effective way to prevent the same issues in the future. Teach operators how to read a schematic. Check in house boxes for correct wiring. On occasion be able to travel to customer sites and trouble shoot all electrical issues. Maintain preventative maintenance on End of Line Tester equipment. Emergency assistance when units have issues on the manufacturing line. When needed, provide added training and assistance on the manufacturing line for any items that the person is knowledgeable on. i.e. Electrical testing and /or other applicable areas. Works closely with Electro-Mechanical Technician to accomplish any Electrical Issues and troubleshoot wiring problems. All other duties as assigned.
