Plant Support (15%): Assist in identifying, developing and implementing process improvement initiatives which reduce waste and non-value added activities. Assist with planning, developing and implementing quality and manufacturing process changes that yield improved Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE); production efficiencies, yields and rates. Provide support on any production/product/quality issues as required. Assist with evaluating equipment and process capabilities and make recommendations on equipment design and selection. Develop a rapport with multiple Plant Leadership Teams, QA Team, and R&D personnel. Coordinate QA efforts with R&D and vice versa. Pilot Plant (15%): Operates and ensures pilot plant machines/production equipment are prepared for operation and installed following protocols and procedures and performs regular technical testing to ensure their safety and efficiency and ensures are functioning to specifications.
