Summary/Objective :

The IT Infrastructure role is responsible for managing IT Operations including Cloud infrastructure and Service, Networking, Desktops, Mobile Fleet, IT Service Desk, and IT Security. This role will implement up-to-date solutions and best practice across the IT infrastructure and Service Desk team and manage technical team and 3rd party providers.


Responsibilities:



Responsible for maintaining and monitoring systems to ensure the highest level of infrastructure performance including Cloud, co-located, and on premise across multiple regional branches and warehouses. Manage IT service desk performance and establish repeatable communication and process standards for IT requests Establish and maintain high level of IT security utilizing recognized frameworks, processes and procedures, and testing. Practice IT asset management, including maintenance of network component, desktops, mobile fleet, life cycle management and related documentation. Negotiate and manage 3rd party providers and vendors. Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the organization’s leaders and end users regarding pertinent infrastructure activities. Manage and provide guidance to junior members of the team. Ability to ‘roll up sleeves’ and contribute with project mgmt. and technically



Required Education and Experience:



5+ years’ experience managing enterprise Cloud services and virtual environments 5+ years’ experience managing and configuring enterprise-wide LANs, WANs, WLANs, VPNs, etc. 3+ years of management experience Excellent knowledge of current protocols and standards, including Active Directory, Group Policies, MS Exchange, Core Switching/Routing, SSL/IPSec, SAN, Virtualization, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery. Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware such as servers, routers, bridges, switches, hubs, modems, network interface cards, and so on. Previous mgmt. of DevOps environments a plus Bachelor degree in Computer Science a plus

Job Description:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field of study or equivalent of years of related work experience required.

Work Experiences:
10+ years of relative technical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, including:Business Continuity Strategies and Disaster RecoveryMicrosoft 365 systems Backup solutions (Commvault, Cohesity) Cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google cloud) Job scheduling automation (UC4) Working with a Managed Service Provider, collaborating with onshore and offshore resources CISCO, LAN, WAN and Voice technologies Developing creative solutions to address complex business situations that need our input.IP routing/switching and QoS.Experience in protocols that include: BGP, MPLS, OSPF, EIGRP, QOS, DNS, Multicast, etc.Distributed Enterprise Network experience

8+ years managerial and leadership experience IT engineering and operations experience preferred Azure Fundamentals Certification highly desired

Skills:
Strong understanding of enterprise virtualization and, storage (VMware, NetApp, Pure, IBM, HP) Strong understanding of enterprise operating systems (Windows, Red Hat, AIX) Strong understanding of database concepts and systems (SQL, DB2, Oracle) Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) with the ability to communicate effectively with staff of varying technical expertise Ability to analyze and research current and new technologies to enable our company Strong problem solving and analytic skills to isolate problems, recommend solutions and implementation of solutions Experience presenting to leadership

Responsibilities:
Administer all facets of employee administration including hiring, performance management, resource allocation and associate development Responsible for P1 and P2 assistance and escalations Scoping projects and calibrating data driven prioritization of a portfolio of solutions and aligning all stakeholders across the environment Running technical programs while optimizing execution Communicate complex technical work to executives and stakeholders Define success metrics, track solution performance, and work prioritization Assist all facets of budgeting, including the development and ongoing management of annual budgets; capital and expense; plan/forecast future budgets Oversee strategic alignment of network and telecom specifications, personnel requirements, and project schedules of Technology services Partner with other IT management teams to evaluate requirements and determine the best technical solution for initiatives Ensure team(s) adhere to all Technology standards and procedures, including regulatory compliance Monitor network and telecom for performance and resolution of production incidents, which may require 24 hr./7 days a week coverage Drive continuous organizational improvements Ensure SLA's are defined and monitored to ensure agreements are met Maintain regular communications to team members Review and provide feedback to direct reports Manage multiple business initiatives of high complexity (complexity defined by size, technology used, and financial complexity)

The Role:

The IT Infrastructure Support Manager is to provide direction and oversight for CompSource Mutual Hosted Datacenter, Network, Storage, Server, Desktop, and Digital Security Infrastructures. It is also responsible for supporting its Cloud based Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platform. In addition, this position directly assists the Director of IT Operations in overall IT Administration - budgeting, personnel, purchasing, planning, special projects, etc.

Education and Experience

7 years experience providing computer, network and/or helpdesk support required
2 year of above required experience leading a team of information technology professionals required
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related field required, 4 years of experience, in addition to above requirement, may be considered in lieu of required education

Other Requirements

This position requires the physical ability to perform extensive repetitive motions in using a computer and the routine use of other office equipment. Work is typically performed while sitting and does not require heavy lifting. Must be willing and able to perform all job-related travel.
