About the Role
We are seeking an InfrastructureEngineer to support existing technologies and advise on design concepts and changes as well as implementation strategies and deployment timelines. This is a hands-on role that spans servers, networking, virtualization, cloud services, security, monitoring and end-user support. This role will work independently on project tasks and collaborate across teams to keep systems reliable and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
Manage operating systems, virtualization platform and enterprise hardware.

As a Railway Systems Engineering Forensic Expert, you will:
Investigate railway systems incidents.

Requirements:
You have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
You have a P.E. license or an EIT/FE and can become a P.E. within 6 months.
You have 15+ years of hands-on passenger rail systems experience (additional freight experience is a plus).
Depth of experience should include some combination of consulting design work, construction, manufacturing, engineering, operations, and/or maintenance of rail operations, rail infrastructure, and/or rolling stock.
Breadth of experience should include a working knowledge of some combination of mainline track, rail yards, sidings, stations (above & below grade), terminals, grade crossings, tunnels, bridges, switches, signal systems, power systems (overhead catenary, third-rail), locomotives (diesel, diesel/electric, or electric power), passenger cars, transit cars, freight cars, maintenance-of-way cars/vehicles, rolling stock maintenance, facilities maintenance, maintenance-of-way, Federal Employees Liability Act (FELA), railroad worker safety, track safety, passenger safety, etc.
You can work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
You have excellent technical, analytical, writing and communication skills.
You are willing to travel about 20% on average.
You have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive.
Prior forensic experience is not required. We seek professionals eager to apply their deep industry knowledge to a challenging new domain.

Role description:
Arcadis is seeking an Engineer with relevant experience in the operation, maintenance and monitoring (OMM) of environmental remedial systems or similar to join our team in PA. We are looking for a task-oriented candidate with strong organizational and technical skills, who feels comfortable with a dynamic team environment. The successful candidate will work alongside scientists & engineers, project managers, and technical experts on various activities in support of a diverse set of remedial sites and projects. This role includes the opportunity to assist with managing projects and be a part of the project management team.
This position requires both office and field work; the successful candidate should expect to be out in the field up to 25% of the time to complete engineering-related tasks. Field work may be performed at project sites with environmental media (e.g., soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, etc.) that has been impacted with hazardous substances and/or hazardous wastes.
This role will sit within the larger Global Resilience Business Area. We work to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations. Role accountabilities:
* Providing technical analysis and performing technical task management for a variety of projects for public and private sector clients.

* Selection and design of remedial systems and equipment.
* Client and regulatory correspondence, in coordination with project managers as appropriate.
* Technical report review and preparation.
* Effective communication with local, national, and global technical and client teams.
* Coordinating field events with Arcadis field staff and subcontractors.
* Assisting in the field with construction oversight, inspections, system testing, and participating in face-to-face client, technical, and other stakeholder meetings.

Impact:

For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco's policies.
Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
* .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
* 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
* 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and
* Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
