POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Become an expert in using The Shade Store's Measure + Install techniques and software systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency of every appointment
Provide our customers with world class experience throughout each measure and install appointment

Dedicates a significant portion of time to overseeing escalations and carrying out specialty, complex and HVO jobs.
Guide and mentor a team of M+I Professionals, taking the lead in fostering a culture of excellence to consistently enhance the customer experience
Performs in the field observations for the assigned regional pros for all service types
Performs MWS audits for the assigned regional pros to ensure consistency and accuracy
Perform complex in-home measurements and installations of our custom window treatment product lines; primarily roller/solar shades, Roman shades and drapery, as well as wooden blinds and more
Perform motorization installation and programming techniques (particularly via Lutron) with complex motorized products
Complete specialty, complex and HVO jobs and ensure customers are comfortable in utilizing the product before leaving the job site
Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing personal judgment and initiative to devise real-time solutions for challenges and obstacles encountered in the field.
Provide support to fellow M+I Professionals by assisting with troubleshooting efforts.
Partner closely with our local Design Consultants to ensure our customers have a seamless end-to-end experience
Communicate and partner regularly with the Headquarters Measure & Install support teams while in the field and on-site
Stay up to date with TSS procedures, regulations and standards
REQUIREMENTS:
High School degree or equivalent
Experience in carpentry, custom installation or a transferable skilled trade required
Significant experience with the use of a common hand, and power tools including but not limited to power drill, impact driver and level
Experience with multiple types of fasteners, anchors and drill bits
Proven ability and experience accurately measuring within 1/8” with manual and laser measurers
Significant customer service and in-home service experience is preferred
Strong spoken and written communications skills
Punctual, reliable and possesses a great work ethic and the highest level of integrity
A strong understanding of basic to advanced technology with computers, mobile devices and tablets
Active driver's license and insurable
Ability to lift a minimum of 55 pounds and climb up and down ladders up to 26' in height

Job Description:
Under the supervision of the Urban Farming Coordinator, the installation team members facilitate the implementation of urban agriculture projects in their region.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Horticultural Management:
Transport materials and plants to production zones.
Open garden spaces with the MicroHabitat team during the installation period.
Ensure cleanliness is maintained during installations.
Perform related tasks like watering, tomato plant trellising, installing support systems, and irrigation systems.
Representation and Administration:
Represent the company as part of the installation team.
Carry out tasks related to setting up production areas.
Follow and maintain safety protocols for MicroHabitat's agricultural operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
For this position, candidates must be willing to perform the following tasks:
Physical work, including heavy lifting.
Work outdoors in warm environments.
