Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Research property attributes and ownership information, continually updating KBC records to reflect accurate and up-to-date information
Operationalize data processes to provide team with ad-hoc analysis
Track market information and prepare monthly, quarterly, and client-specific market reports
Collaborate with Location Intelligence (GIS) team at KBC, coordinating proprietary market dashboards and data visualization projects for external presentations
Proactively leverage KBC data and research for client strategy and business use; partner with KBC stakeholders to identify improvements and opportunities for thought leadership on market insights
Develop and continuously enhance research activities and processes, including tracking key market and building level activity
Assist in efforts to enhance our proprietary database and drive data entry, identify process and tool improvement opportunities
Creatively translate data into meaningful insights for our clients, supporting communication between KBC New Jersey and clients
Drive data standardization processes for the purposes of marketing and industry collateral

* Performing law enforcement duties to investigate, identify, locate, arrest, detain, prosecute, and remove foreign nationals who pose a threat to national security and public safety, as well as those that enter the United States illegally with the intent to undermine the integrity of the nation's immigration laws and border control efforts.
* Conducting difficult, complex, and sensitive investigations that require development of new or substantially modified methods in order to resolve anticipated problems for the purpose of identifying violators of immigration laws through the use of investigative methods and techniques as well as determining citizenship, to include gathering facts and evidence pertaining to noncitizens who pose a threat to national security and/or public safety
* Conducting custody determinations regarding the detention of noncitizens in accordance with constitutional law, federal statutes, regulations and policies; coordinating and negotiating with domestic and foreign law enforcement agencies to manage the detention and removal of noncitizens in the U.S.; and sharing compiled actionable intelligence information with law enforcement intelligence communities.
* Interviewing witnesses and interrogating suspects to gather critical information and evidence; obtaining and serving criminal and civil warrants of arrest; serving as agency lead on interagency, federal, state, and local law enforcement task forces to address threats to national security or public safety, as well as processing, detaining, and transporting noncitizens throughout the legal process.

Deportation Officer Transition Program (DOTP): Selectees who have not previously held a position as a Deportation Officer, Detention and Deportation Officer, Supervisory Deportation Officer, or Supervisory Detention and Deportation Officer and have not previously attended the six-week DOTP will be required to do so after entrance on duty. Successful completion of this course is mandatory per agency policy. Failure to successfully complete the academy will result in your removal from this position.
Firearms Requirement: You will be required to carry a firearm while performing duties of this position. Maintaining firearm proficiency is also mandatory. You must satisfactorily complete (or have previously completed) the firearms component of the Criminal Investigation Training Program at Glynco, GA. Work Conditions: This job requires considerable and strenuous physical exertion. Surveillance frequently require extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, and crawling through a variety of terrain. The officer typically works long and irregular hours, on weekends, holidays, and at night.

Physical Abilities Assessment: All applicants must pass the PAA prior to graduation from FLETC. The PAA consists of two parts: Criterion Task Test (CTT) and a 1.5 mile run. The CTT consists of a timed obstacle course that involves a vehicle exit, barrier surmount, low crawl, window egress, stair climb, repeat crawl, pre-cuffing position, 175 lbs. dummy drag, repeat barrier surmount, and a sprint. The CTT is then followed by a 1.5 mile run in 14 minutes and 30 seconds or less.
Motor Vehicle Operation: You must possess a valid state driver's license and be able to drive an automobile or light truck. You may also need to obtain and maintain a state commercial driver's license to operate an over-the-road bus capable of transporting 30 or more persons.

Conduct internet and other research concerning the customers and counterparties involved with transactions, as appropriate.
Review complex and multi-tiered relationships to determine if account activity is suspicious and requires the filing of a SAR.
Write a comprehensive analysis of the account activity to support the disposition to close/escalate an alert, close/escalate a case, and file a SAR when required while meeting Management-defined productivity and quality control requirements.
Thoroughly document alert and case investigations, including supporting data, research, analysis and rationale for the recommendation within the case management system in a timely manner and in compliance with regulatory guidelines and AFC procedures.
Provide recommendations for off-boarding customers who pose a heightened risk to the Bank as directed by the Head of Financial Intelligence Unit.
Prepare summaries of customers with multiple SARs and high-risk investigation cases for the Head of Financial Intelligence Unit, BSA Officer, and SAR Sub-Committee, as needed.

Institutional Partnerships Officer

The Public Theater seeks an Institutional Partnerships Officer who will be responsible for providing critical grant writing and project management support to the Institutional Partnerships team. Reporting to the Director of Institutional Partnerships, the Manager will support the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of thoughtful funding relationships with a portfolio that encompasses leading New York City and National philanthropies.
The Institutional Partnerships Officer will serve as lead grant writer for The Public Theater's foundation, government, and corporate partners. The Manager will construct proposals, reports, and acknowledgment letters for both general support and program-specific grants and will oversee the tracking of deadlines and portfolio management for the Institutional team. This self- motivated, solutions-oriented individual will project manage tentpole grant proposals and reports throughout the year and will facilitate strategic planning for the prospecting and stewardship of long-term, meaningful relationships within the Institutional Partnerships portfolio.Responsibilities:
Serve as lead grant writer for the Institutional Partnerships team, articulating annual Public Theater programming and production plans and achievements through proposals, reports, and acknowledgment letters.
Help to develop Institutional Partnerships team strategy, including facilitating strategic planning sessions and tracking key goals and KPIs.
Work closely with the Institutional Partnerships team to develop the Public's institutional giving strategy, and continually prospect for new relationships with funders that are aligned with institutional priorities.
Oversee project management systems using an established network of deadlines, deliverables, stewardship, prospecting and projections tracking tools.
Facilitate opportunities to share programs, productions, and relevant activities with funders.
Oversee the fulfillment of benefits and crediting requirements for all institutional funders.
Oversee the maintenance and updating of records in Tessitura and central files for all institutional funders.
Work closely with The Public's Finance and Institutional Partnerships teams to create project budgets for grant proposals.
Requirements:
3+ years' experience working with funding entities, developing grant applications, or evaluating grant applications.
Excellent project management skills.
Ability to engage with staff at all levels, and remain proactive, collaborative, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail.
Confident decision-making and problem-solving abilities, and a warmly collegial approach to collaboration.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple, concurrent projects under pressure, in a fast- paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint.
Experience using a CRM, ideally Tessitura.
Knowledge of theater and the arts in New York City is a plus.
Compensation:
The salary for this position starts at $80k annually.

About the Team
Baron's Performance Analytics Team, part of the Portfolio, Risk & Data Analytics (PR&DA) Group, is responsible for conducting performance analytics for the Baron Funds and other investment products. The Team meets regularly with portfolio managers to discuss market trends and drivers of absolute and relative performance. In addition, the Team analyzes performance dispersion between accounts, peer performance analysis and reporting, and provides support for product development and marketing efforts. The Team also supports the Firm's internal research and external marketing efforts and is responsible for the production and review of periodic reports for the Firm's CIOs, executives, the Board of Trustees, and Marketing and Sales. The Performance Analytics Team works closely with the Risk and Portfolio Analytics Teams within the Group and interacts regularly with sales, accounting, marketing, and most other departments at the Firm.
About the Role
The Associate is expected to understand the Firm's portfolio objectives and investment processes, remain informed about the industry landscape and market events and trends, and leverage technology and various analytical tools to effectively support the efforts of the Performance & Competitor Intelligence Analytics Team. The Associate will be responsible for monthly performance-based reporting and ad-hoc requests. The Associate is expected to communicate results effectively to members of the PR&DA Group, portfolio managers, and other groups across the Firm. The successful candidate should have an aptitude to manage large and complex datasets, summarize and present results in a clear and concise fashion, and collaborate with team members to create optimal workflows that facilitate the timely and accurate delivery of analytics to relevant stakeholders.
The Associate assists the Manager of Performance & Competitive Intelligence Analytics with a diverse array of projects and reporting requirements. The Associate is responsible for providing broad data and analytical services used by Portfolio Managers, Sales, Marketing, and Investor Information & Data teams and participates in data research projects and initiatives within the PR&DA team. Aside from reporting, the Associate will be involved in the production of data for monthly market updates, maintenance of internal data sets, responding to questions in RFPs and DDQs, and supporting the research efforts of the team. This position requires a general understanding of financial markets and the investment management industry, familiarity with performance analytics tools, and programming knowledge. An initiative-taking and problem-solving attitude is essential to succeed in this role. The PR&DA Group has a strong, team-based orientation, yet relies upon its members to take initiative and responsibility for their own individual projects. Performance Analytics:
Develop a strong understanding of analytics applications available, such as Morningstar Direct, FactSet SPAR and PA and related API codes, Nasdaq eVestment

, Refinitiv (Lipper for Investment Management), FI360 and Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX), as well as Baron's proprietary Marketing and Equity Research systems, Starfish, FundsDB and BRAInS.
Assist with the timely and accurate production of reports, including performance-based analytics and peer comparisons, and present results in clear and concise fashion.
Contribute to monthly and quarterly reporting processes alongside other members of the P&RA team.
Support Sales and Marketing efforts in marketing campaigns by running performance analytics reports and compiling data and analyses requested.
Assist P&RA Group members with various internal reporting, initiatives and research projects requiring the manipulation of complex databases and copious quantities of data.
Run one-off and ad-hoc portfolio analytics requests and deliver accurate and concise analyses in a timely manner.
Support sales and marketing efforts through client meeting preparation by running reports and compiling data.
Develop and foster strong, collaborative relationships with other departments within the Firm.
Review, audit, and approve periodical marketing documents and materials and collaborate with different departments to ensure data accuracy and investigate performance related inquiries.
Work closely with IT developers to automate existing processes where applicable.
Periodical Reporting:
Prepare information required for quarterly Investment Committee meetings.
Prepare files and/or populate consultant databases with quarterly portfolio and performance-based analytics data in an accurate and timely manner.
Provide data for product presentations and other marketing materials.
Conduct statistical analyses including portfolio and performance characteristics, and various risk metrics to assist in the completion of RFPs and DDQs.
Populate and audit quarterly performance-based data in proprietary marketing database “Starfish.”
Maintain other internal databases and custom reporting settings.
Prepare data for consultant databases.
Prepare Competitive Peer Analyses.
Prepare Ratings and Ranking reports.
Other:
Assist in improvements of portfolio reporting and automation projects, develop dashboards and review of data flows into the Firm's proprietary databases, Starfish and BRAInS, working closely with IT Developers and Fund Accounting departments.
Update and maintain the “Portfolio & Risk Analytics Procedures Manual.”
Train Investment Specialists on using Morningstar Report Portal and, as Administrator, create and update templates for the Intermediary and RIA Sales teams.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in finance, mathematics, economics, or statistics.
Up to 3 years of relevant experience in performance/portfolio analytics or risk reporting, preferably in the investment management industry.
Experience with performance analytics applications such as Morningstar, FactSet PA and/or Bloomberg.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of financial markets and the investment management industry.
Familiar with Morningstar's peer group ranking methodology.
Office productivity: Advanced/Power User of Microsoft Office and Adobe, particularly MS Excel, VBA, Vlookups, Hlookups, pivot tables, macros, APIs as well as PowerPoint, and Word.
Financial applications: FactSet and or Bloomberg. Asset management industry databases including Morningstar Direct, eVestment, Refinitiv (Lipper for Investment Management), and/or Broadridge (Fi360) (desirable).

The base salary range for this position is based on skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. It is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
