As a School Social Worker, you are primarily responsible for helping students in Grades K- 12 succeed academically, socially, and emotionally, through individual and group counseling and by collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a safe, healthy, and supportive learning environment that strengthens connections between home and school.
‖ Responsibilities Include:
Providing individual and group counseling sessions to address interpersonal or family issues that interfere with school performance, including crisis intervention consultation and/or family therapy as needed.
Maintaining all required paperwork including but not limited to communication logs and meticulous notes regarding all services provided to students.
Conducting interviews with students, family members, and school personnel to gather information required to assess student social, emotional and behavioral adjustment to school and the community.
Maintaining regular contact with students' parents/guardians to inform of student's progress, areas of difficulties, and any changes or situations in home life that may affect school performance.
Developing and updating Individualized Education Plans (IEP) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) as needed in adherence to the company, school, state and federal regulations and procedure.
Attending and participating in IEP team meeting, facilitating at the discretion of the school districts.
Actively participating in other team meetings when necessary to address specific student and parent concerns.
Collaborating with education and social services professionals (for example wrap- around, probation officers, court systems) to develop appropriate agency services for students and their families.
Providing case management functions for students, which include but are not limited to, coordination of parent meetings, emergency transportation requests, and coordination with therapists outside the school setting.
Collaborating and consulting with teachers, parents/guardians, district personnel, and service providers to find effective solutions to learning and behavior problems; always establishing and maintaining effective public relations and projecting a positive company image.
Ensuring the use of positive social skill teaching methods by conducting monthly direct observation of classroom staff's implementation of IEP goals and/or Behavior Intervention Plans/ Treatment Plans.
Providing guidance, consultation, and assistance to teachers in the development of classroom schedules, maintenance of student data systems and facilitation of student transition plans to assure appropriate schedules and services based on each student's Individual Education Plan (IEP) and/or other applicable goals.
Assessing student progress through consistent review of classroom data collection and recording systems and providing applicable training and guidance to classroom staff accordingly in addressing student behavioral needs.
Conducting crisis assessments and contacting the appropriate authorities if needed to ensure that emergency intervention is provided to students.
Keeping up to date with research-based practices and developments in subject area.
Responding constructively to formal and informal feedback.
Performing other duties as assigned.
‖ Qualifications Required:
Master's degree or higher in social work, educational counseling, therapy or a closely related field of study.
Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining an IL professional educator license (PEL) school support personnel endorsement.
Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) credential.
Ability to obtain and maintain certification in company approved crisis management (PCM) training.
Prior experience and/or knowledge in special education services and compliance, particularly for students with severe learning disabilities, emotional disturbance and/or behavioral disorders.
Well-versed in applied behavior analysis (ABA) including positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS), functional behavior analysis (FBA) and behavior intervention plans (BIP's).
Proven success in developing and implementing effective intervention plans for students with diverse needs, preferably in an alternative, special education and/or behavioral health program setting.
Proficiency in providing motivation and having critical conversations with students that help move them toward realistic goals.

This position provides professional 1:1 and group mentoring to youth in school, community and afterschool settings. The

This position identifies the nature and cause of client's problem(s) and incapacities as they relate to chemical abuse, social functioning, vocational functioning, legal functioning, and leisure time functioning. This position formulates service delivery plans, implements case plans upon approval of the supervisor, provides treatment and guidance in line with accepted modules, and develops and refers clients to appropriate community resources.
A Social Worker credential and a substance abuse credential from the Wisconsin DSPS is required to be considered.
Salary Information
Social Worker is in pay schedule and range 12-64 with pay starting from $31.00/hour - $34.34/hour.
Social Worker - Senior is in pay schedule and range 12-63 with pay starting from $32.00/hour - $43.66/hour.
This position may receive a $1.00 to $2.00 per hour add-on pay based on the type of SAC credential possessed at the time of hire.
Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire. A probationary period is required.
Candidates with no prior permanent employment with the State of Wisconsin in the past 5 years may be eligible to accept a sign-on bonus of $2,000. The sign-on bonus will be paid in two installments: $1000 on the first paycheck and $1000 with the paycheck for the pay period in which the employee attains permanent status (usually 1 year). (UW System employment isn't disqualifying.)
To receive the bonus, a candidate must sign an agreement indicating they will remain in that position for a year. If the candidate leaves their position prior to completing the one year, they may be required to reimburse the initial payment.

Reporting to the Chief IP Counsel, the Group Technology Counsel will have responsibility for providing a full range of legal advice and counsel on a variety of intellectual property matters for ITW's Food Equipment Group (“FEG”) and Construction Products (“Construction”) Segments. The successful candidate will have at least fifteen (15) years of experience in intellectual property law, with experience in US and foreign patent and trademark prosecution, client counseling, right-to-practice evaluation, contract preparation and negotiation, transaction due diligence, trade secret protection and enforcement, and IP litigation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specific responsibilities of the Group Technology Counsel will include, but are not limited to:
Principal attorney for intellectual property matters for ITW's FEG and Construction Segments, including responsibility for patents, trade secrets, trademarks, software, domains, and artificial intelligence while working together with Group Technology Counsel based in Europe and China.
Becoming a close business partner to the divisions in the FEG and Construction Segments and learning their businesses, products, and markets.
Meeting and conferring with outside counsel and business leaders on IP strategy, freedom to operate, reducing risk, enforcement, and defense.
Supporting the management of a diverse, worldwide IP portfolio based on a strategy developed with the FEG and Construction Segments, including overseeing outside counsel's preparation and prosecution of patent and trademark applications, and the securing of copyrights, trade secrets, and domains.
Partnering closely with the engineering and product teams to identify and capture new inventions and counsel on competitor IP landscape.
Assisting in the selection and management of outside counsel in the prosecution/defense of various IP legal issues, including freedom to operate and infringement opinions.
Quickly becoming familiar with the patent and trademark portfolios to counsel the businesses and make decisions on securing worldwide protection, annual renewals and enforcement.
Leading IP litigation, including counseling the business, assessing risk and strategy, managing outside counsel and budgets, and negotiating settlements.
Rendering IP-related legal opinions on issues such as artificial intelligence risk, freedom to operate, ownership, infringement, and validity.
Drafting and negotiating IP-related terms and conditions and agreements, such as confidentiality and development agreements, supply agreements, licenses, EULAs, open-source license attributions, consulting agreements, artificial intelligence and sweepstakes and contests.
Interpreting court decisions, conducting legal research, and being knowledgeable about statutes and governmental regulations to provide legal advice on current and pending IP legal developments.
Supporting IP-related due diligence in commercial transactions, such as acquisitions, divestitures, and licensing.
Training business teams on IP-related topics.
Some travel is required to various worldwide ITW businesses to partner with the Innovation, R&D, and Management teams of those businesses and establish/support their IP strategies.
REQUIREMENTS:
JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school and admission in good standing to the Illinois state bar.
Admission to practice before the USPTO as a registered patent attorney.
A degree in Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant scientific or engineering degree, is required.
Minimum of 15 years of progressively more responsible work experience in intellectual property law, working with businesses with a global footprint. A combination of law firm and in-house experience is strongly preferred.
Practice experience must include US and foreign patent and trademark preparation for a worldwide IP portfolio, client counseling on a broad range of IP issues, opinion work, contract preparation and negotiation, due diligence, trade secrets, and IP litigation.

Compensation Information:
