Job Summary
Administers and coordinates the activities in support of obtaining subcontractor bid coverage throughout the estimating process for either bid or negotiated client projects. Reports directly to Lead Bid Coordinator /and works in conjunction with the Estimating and Project teams. 80% of the job is phone solicitation and follow-up to ensure subcontractor coverage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare construction documents and supporting documentation (appendix specification, etc.) for distribution to vendors/subcontractor.
Utilize various resources for the solicitation of qualified subcontractors, including but not limited to Menemsha field resources, Oneteam.com, project management, online sourcing, unions, landlord referrals, etc.
Identify subcontractor/trade requirements for associated project(s). Communicate with assigned project manager/estimating team to identify qualified subcontractors to solicit and confirm trade list is accurate and meets the requirements of the project scope as identified within the construction documentation provided.
Solicit subcontractors via phone, heavy phone contact required, to gain subcontractor interest.
Phone follow-up for subcontractors interested in bidding.
Respond to subcontractor calls regarding the project or additional information needed. Secure the correct response from Estimating, Project Manager as required to respond timely to the subcontractor(s) questions.
Timely management of subcontractor bid responses. Ensure access to all essential parties for review in a timely manner to meet the clients bid due date. Strict adherence to the ‘Estimating Task List' deliverable dates.

What You Will Do
* Utilize your experience to perform interior design assignments that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentation
* Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting

Your Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited school
* 5+ years of post-grad interior design experience

Your Qualifications

Presently, we are in search of top talent to join our Construction Division as a Site Superintendent based in Northern CA. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment and is located in New England area. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day job site activities and operations for project construction.
Responsible for project quality control.
Provide leadership to the subcontractor workforce.
Review the plans and specifications for the project.
Prepare, manage, and update the project schedule, including determining the work sequence and scheduling all material deliveries (overall, one-week, and three-week look-ahead).
Conduct weekly safety meetings to ensure that safety measures are understood and being followed.
Address any safety issues on the job site as they arise and report any incidents to all appropriate parties.
Complete any necessary paperwork responsibilities, including daily records of field activity.
Manage site logistics, coordinate materials deliveries, all subcontractors' work sequencing, and coordinate site visit inspection requests.
Deliver Jobs on Schedule at top quality.
Control onsite spending for General Conditions (small tools, rentals, dumpsters, heat, etc.)
Requirements:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years supervisory experience.
Must live in Southern CA
Must have excellent computer skills, experience with standard software packages, including Microsoft Office/Outlook.
Must have experience with job scheduling; must be able to read and clearly understand blueprints and construction intent.
Must have a clean driving record and must be willing to travel.
Any of the following markets: retail, restaurant, banking, education
High-level, ground up/tilt-up construction experience.

What You Will Do
Provide design and documentation of Sciences Workplace for a range of projects
Develop architectural drawings and specifications to communicate planning concepts for project documentation and construction
Apply proper QA/QC methods throughout project
Lead periodic project meetings and presentations; ensure client is adequately briefed on project progress
Set up project team software parameters and manage standards
Participate in user group meetings (heads of departments, specialists, etc.) to collect program needs for Technical and Non Technical spaces
Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients' program requirements and standards and policies for completion
Assist in the design development, modification and/or review of Design Concepts and solutions, prioritizing sustainably-responsible design
Assist in the planning and coordination of lab equipment and lab casework
Assist in developing project scope, plan, and services during the contract process. Translate planning concepts into comprehensible terms for clients, designers and project team members
Assist in establishing overall project budgets and milestone schedules in coordination with project managers, architects and project engineers
Communicate planning concepts to project teams, both verbally and through graphic and written reports
Develop architectural drawings and specifications to communicate planning concepts for project documentation and construction
Prepare and modify architectural documents, elevations, sections, details, etc.
Anticipate and develop solutions to technical and design problems following established standards
Your Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in architecture or equivalent in education or experience required; Master's degree preferred
10+ years of experience in Architecture inclusive of 5+ years of experience focused on programming and planning of all phases of a variety of laboratory types
Architecture license required
Experience working directly with senior management, scientists, laboratory managers and technicians, facilities and project managers, and other project stakeholders in determining and documenting programmatic requirements
Proficiency in Revit required
Knowledge of laboratory programming delivery and how design impacts those systems - including space, operational, and equipment programming, as well as MEP systems and lab casework
Knowledge of laboratory planning, design, construction documents, construction administration and project construction cost control for lab facilities
Demonstrable creativity, passion and interest in design and planning of laboratories within technical facilities. Knowledge of technical and regulatory requirements for laboratory design
LEED accredited preferred. Committed to the principles of sustainable design and resilient communities, able to demonstrate this commitment in a portfolio of work
Well-rounded, strategic-thinker with an integrated approach to design, management and technical project resolution who can help shape a vision for the future
Capable of traveling to and from project sites for attending client, project and construction meetings.
